Motsumi just saved my 3rd Boerboel from Tick bite fever. I've been a client since I was 15 years old, and I'm turning 47 this year. Apart for the fact that they really care about animals and give absolutely exceptional, loving and unsurpassable care to the animals, they are one of the few vets that are NOT trying to rip off desperate fur baby mommies and daddies. Griffon was in hospital with them for 2 weeks, for the same amount that it would have cost me for only initial treatment in the Lanseria/ Broederstroom area, excluding hospitalisation. A special shout out to Annelize, who phoned me daily to keep me updated, really bonded with my baby and even sent me videos of how he was doing. This is above and beyond! Dr Kobus and team, you have every right to be very proud of yourselves and your accomplishments and work in our community.

Very professional and caring at the same time.

Today 25/02/25 we were faced with the most difficult decision in our life's... We took our little mix grill (cross pinscher and dachshund ) after she suddenly starting to cough.... The doctor that saw us was very professional... After his preliminary diagnosis of collapsed trachea we decided to rather let him take an x-ray when he came back and said that he wants to take another because he does not like what he see... After that he took us to show the x-rays and his diagnosis of lung cancer that are closing the trachea... He look at us for reaction and we asked him to be honest would medication help and he said No it will be a question of time... After 10 years( got her after our youngest was murdered) we decided to rather put her down to prevent her suffering and die of suffocation .... He was so nice to ask whether we want to be present or should he do it when we leave... In 10 yrs we have not left her alone even when we got a homeless Pomeranian( both her owners died of cancer in our old age home)... And we were not prepare to leave her alone on her last journey... The people at Montsumi understand that they are just not a dog or cat but a family member... Thank you for your help and taken care of her little body to be cremated since we have no place to bury her..... I can recommend them with the four legged family members thanks guys keep up the good work...
