We wanted to have a work team breakfast after a site meeting. Unfortunately they had no eggs and were "waiting for the guy". So we settled for toasted sandwiches and chips. The food was tasty and freshly prepared. Some drinks such as still water and fruit juices were also out of stock. The place has lots of potential and can do much better with some renewal of decor, and ensuring that menu items are available.
It is not a big city place, so do not expect that speed level of service. They have very friendly staff and the food is really good and well priced. The atmosphere is quiet and there is a great view.

Great service and hospitality during the COVID-19 pandemic. Clean and open spaces. Separated seating. Lovely view and atmosphere. Amazing koeksisters and great coffee. Wide variety of other baked items. Safe and secure venue. Close to the road.

Best Food with the WORST service! People were standing up to warm their food THEMSELVES in the kitchen. Waiter NEVER vists the table you need to drag him out of the kitchen to get a drink. Wine is out of the box can not even confirm what type of wine is in the bag. Very disorganized and unprofesional. Worst mothersday ever at R250 per head! Please visit if you would like your special day to be spoiled. Sorry but as local residents we will not recommend and never visit again! Such a pitty beacause their food is lovely but not worth the frustration.
