Send my daughters to buy, DIATOMACEOUS EARTH, she came home with, DIOMEC PLUS!! The assistant that helped her, told her it's the right product and when my daughter showed the person my message,Diatomaceous earth and she wanted the food grade one, she was given that product. When she called them Monday, it was bought the Sunday July 21st, she was told they can't exchange it seeing its medication, even after she told them the assistant that helped her gave it. It's R300 wasted all because of lack of knowledge on their side!

The shop under charged me. I went back to pay the difference and the lady working behind the counter was clueless and slow. Long story short they charged me in full again despite my protest. I hope that R32 was worth all the sales it cost you a month from me. Also the same products are cheaper at Absolute Pets so I will go there from now on

My favorite place to get everything I need for my pup! They always have stock of everything I need and my pup loves the staff there. Roelene is one of the main reasons I will continue to support this store. She is always friendly, loves the animals that come in and knows your customer and product details by heart. A definite must if you're looking for anything for your dog or cat together with exceptional service.

Very poor service and the staff does not know much. They gave me the wrong pellets for my puppy, they lied to me and told me the tag machine was Brocken but it was just switched off and they didn’t want to work, they told me Doggobone wasn’t for puppies but I contacted the company myself and you can feed it to your pets from the age of 4 weeks old as long as they off their moms milk. I would not recommend going to them unless you know exactly what you want to buy other then that rather go somewhere else with people that know what they talking about

I would never support the Sandown Retail Center store and suggest everyone stays away. I was given forced advise on my dogs food, which I bought because the guy made me feel bad for wanting to buy the food that I very well know is best. Then a week or so goes by and I am sitting with a hefty vet bill and a dog vir skin allergies and terrible scabs due to the dry food. Which would have never happened if the guy just allowed me to go on my merry way with the food I wanted! Then going back to the store today, explaining what happened and politely asking, all I want to do is return the closed, unopen bag and buy the bag of food I wanted, which is more and I would be more than happy to pay in the difference! What an issue! The Lady and Guy (which is different to the guy that gave the unwanted forced suggestion) it took nearly 45min and then I just left because of the absolute lack of customer retention and care! I advised that if I can just return the food, pay in the difference, go home and send the proof of payment as it was bought on a card, I dont have the slip anymore but is on a statement! Nope, was not good enough for this guy and lady! Service was shocking, not just the return but the lack of wanting to assist. Will stay with reputable and friendly shops! About Cats and Dogs anywhere is not worth my money!!!

Visited their new location just outside the new Spar, next to Builders Warehouse, on Thursday. Lovely bright and airy shop, duty staff member guy was super friendly, helpful and happy to see me. Good luck in the new location guys!
