I’ve been watching his YouTube channel and ordering from Jacque for years now. Finally got to meet him in his shop. What a lovely guy. Shop is stunning with the best selection of equipment in the country.

What a helpful bunch of guys. Everyone I interacted with was very helpful, knowledgeable and happy impart knowledge to help you build and perfect your aquarium or in my case paludarium. Jacques who I assumed to be the owner was also very helpful and patient to a newbie like myself.

Had great service with their online store. Al items packaged beautifully. Ordered red shrimp and Sterbai Cory's on separate occasions and they arrived in good Condition.. All. Their plants have been healthy too. Very happy with them! Will definitely order again!

Best fish aquarium shop that I have ever been to. Mc Merwes is the best place to go and the staff are all extremely skilled and knowledgeable and clearly enjoy what they do and know more than enough and are very skilled. The owner is a great guy and the whole store is packed with different kinds of fish and shrimp and the products for them is insane and its a great friendly packed environment. If you need a good shop thats actually dedicated to fish and have a wide variety of products and fish and shrimp while also having incredible staff, Go to Mc Merwes. 5 stars.

Best fish aquarium shop! Got our new plants and starting a new journey. Great knowledge on tanks, fish and we'll advanced equipment for aquarium fanatics. No other way to say this..but their fish actually don't just die! Really great service and great products.

I randomly came across this store and I'm very happy with the service. Ashley helped us at our first visit and twice after. We're struggling with extremely high phosphate levels in our pond and he is so patient answering all my questions. He has so much knowledge and suggests different things to do to try and get rid of all the phosphates. Would definitely return and recommend them to everyone.

I truly appreciate how well educated the staff is about their fish and products. They are also always very happy to help and answer any questions we have about our own fish at home. Their fish always look healthy and they seem very up to standard with treating their ill fish and maintaining their tanks. Would highly recommend this place as anyone's first choice when needing supplies, guidance on how to care for your fish, etc.
