Petshop Science Rondebosch

Awesome store and awesome savings currently when you have a checkers card. Finn (2 year old pitbull) has more snacks than me and my wife combined. Store itself is very neat laid. Staff is excellent.

So happy to see Checkers extending into vet food and pet care! Sasha was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and I got the best deals thanks to her. Convenient and competitive prices, love it!

What was otherwise a decent experience was tainted by the lady at the door who was pretty much following me in every aisle that I was in. It was disheartening and hard to not assume something like that has to do with the colour of my skin. Are we still doing this in 2022? Perhaps she was doing her job as she would anyone else (I have my doubts) but god forbid I stole dog treats and did what, sell those on the streets? South Africa needs to do better.

I cannot rave enough about Fatima , your riverside rondebosch pet shop manager. She is most helpful and very very knowledgeable and has gone over and beyond my expectations ❤️a absolute gem to your store❤️thank you so much Fatima❤️

Very friendly and helpful staff! They also sell Vondi's and have a wide variety of pet food and treats. Thank you for your help, I will be back!

Service has become inconsistent unfortunately. As of late its either a hit or miss. Also, the security is way too serious and unfriendly. When staff are assisting customers don't just leave them standing whilst you decide to have a long chat with other people. It's just plain rude!!!

Nice little pet shop if you need to grab something quickly. They often have food specials that other stores can’t beat.
