Playful Houndy

As very attached dog parents to two environment loving pups, leaving them for a week was not something we took lightly. But our experience with Playful Houndy Wierda Park during their sleepover completely put our hearts at ease. From the moment we dropped them off, we knew they were in loving hands. The teachers cared for them as if it was us looking after them ourselves. The daily updates and photos meant everything to us. We could clearly see they were not locked up in kennels, but kept in their normal routine, comfortable, safe, and surrounded by care. What stood out the most was how relaxed our pups were. They are very attached to their home environment, so we expected at least a little stress or anxiety. But there was none. They looked happy, settled, and completely themselves. That alone speaks volumes. Another highlight was the safe doggy daycare taxi ride between Wierda Park and Clubview each morning and afternoon. They still got to enjoy their big playground, run around with their furry friends, and be part of the daycare fun before heading back for their sleepover. It truly felt like the best of both worlds. We are beyond grateful for the love, structure, and reassurance we received that week. Knowing our pups were cared for so intentionally made our trip so much easier. Thank you for treating our fur babies like your own.

We absolutely love Playful Houndy! Nova is always so excited to go, and that alone tells me everything I need to know. The system they use is fantastic — it’s organized, professional, and gives me complete peace of mind. I really appreciate how well everything is managed and communicated. Most importantly, I can clearly see Nova’s social needs being met. She comes home happy, stimulated, and content after spending time there. "The Gold Standard for Doggy Care! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐" If you want a place where your fur babies are treated like family, Playful Houndy Wierda Park is the absolute best! My three—Lizzi, Abby, and Maximus—just loved their time here. The team goes above and beyond with the cutest personal touches. We especially loved the: Report Cards: Getting a breakdown of their day and who their best friends were is so heartwarming. School Photos: The professional-quality photos of them looking their best are keepsakes we’ll treasure forever! The facilities are top-notch, featuring splash pools, jungle gyms, and the "Winter Wendy" to keep them cozy. While we eventually moved Lizzi, Abby, and Maximus over to the Clubview branch simply because it’s closer to our home, we still choose Wierda Park for all our sleepovers. There is nothing quite like their "cageless" sleepover setup. Knowing our dogs are sleeping on couches and beds with 24/7 supervision gives us total peace of mind. Whether it's the Doggie Taxi or the incredible "Houndyteer" staff, this place is a dream for any pet owner. Lizzi, Abby, and Maximus give it five paws up! 🐾

I can highly recommend Playful Houndy to anyone. Mila loves her friendly, caring teachers and friends. You regularly received updates and photo's. for daycare and sleepovers. They really take good care and it always feel like home for Mila.🐶

Bentley the Airedale Terrier found his second home at Playful Houndy daycare! We’ve been with this crew for a lovely 3 years and still going strong! Bentley has anxiety and this place changed our lives. He can social with other doggies and is well looked after even when we go away and he stays for a sleepover. We get regular updates with photos regarding food and mood. I can really leave him in their capable hands with peace of mind. Thanks to Marlise and all the lovely staff!

WP playful Houndy has always helped out when I’m in a tight spot for boarding. In the beginning I was sceptical if she would adjust and be comfortable away from me and home for a weekend or a few days, because she’s a rescue. However, she settled in quick and happy due to the outstanding support and understanding of the staff. They updated me every day with feeding time and daily activities. Everytime I’ve picked her up, the tail wags and is always happy and confident. Thank you again for looking after my girl when I need to leave her behind for awhile.
