Dr. Janine explained everything clearly and took the time to help me understand my dog’s severe allergies and the next steps. I really appreciated how she suggested practical, manageable options that felt affordable and not overwhelming. She was gentle, patient, and wonderful with both of my dogs. A truly positive experience all around — I’m very grateful for their care.

I can honestly say that this practice has the most caring and friendly staff. Our furkid needed attention during the festive season and dr Janine in particular was so caring, reaching out after hours to check in and make sure everything is okay. I can highly recommend this vet practice.

I left a detailed review on your facebook page, Google didn’t allow a long review. Be more thorough when diagnosing animals and do proper testing. Do not blindly give a treatment plans. The vet worsened my dog’s condition because she said he had a skin infection caused by allergies. He has a parasite called demodectic mange. With the wrong medication his condition progressed and the cortisone given to him weakend his immune system and allowed the mites to take over. I do not know why a skin scrape or a blood test was not done to find out what was wrong. When you pay R2500 for an appointment, you want to be given the right diagnosis and medication. Luckily he is in better hands with an establishment that is not only in it for the money. Do better Update: Sadly we had to put our baby down yesterday, because his condition didn’t get better and he had underlying conditions that made it hard to take an aggressive approach to help him. Dr Janine did reach out to me when I initially left this review, and I thought it was sweet that she cared. She did end up ghosting me when I asked her simple things like what the vet that "diagnosed" him had to say or other things relating to his health, which felt insensitive. I forgive you for what happened, because dogs never stay angry and they forgive. But I would rather trust the vet at the other institute that did thorough testing and took 15 min to find what was wrong, than someone who looked under the microscope for 1 min. Mind you testing wasn't even done the first time. The mange might not be all he had, but he did have it. Just because it is unlikely, doesn’t mean it’s not a reality for him. Instead of dismissing something he already had, you could have focused on what was stopping him from healing, since mange in adult dogs are caused by a weakened immune system. You only wanted to do more testing when it was too late. I feel robbed of my time with him. He was 5 years old. R.I.P Bax, you are no longer in pain and you are free🕊️

Such lovely people. They care for us, the parents, but mostly for our fur-babies. Doctor taking the time to bend down to my baby's level. Working carefully with her. Then working within my budget. Even helping this old lady up. But mainly the care for our animals. And so affordable and efficient. I would highly recommend them.
