I had a fantastic experience with Barking Dogs Spa. From the very beginning, even just inquiring about logistics, check-in times, and general information, everything was extremely professional and easy. Shihaam and her staff truly have something special. Shihaam was incredibly patient with my girl. This was my fur baby’s first time staying at a new place, and we were very nervous since she’s still adjusting to new people and other pets. Throughout her stay, we received regular updates, including messages, pictures, and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Shihaam also shared helpful advice on food, treats, and grooming, giving us a truly well-rounded experience. Shihaam worked with my girl calmly and lovingly, and when we picked her up, she felt like a completely new pup — more social, more confident, and far less scared than when we dropped her off. I would definitely recommend Barking Dogs Spa. 10/10 experience!

Had a great experience with Barking Dogs Spa. The owner is well educated in taking care of pets, and isn't just in the business for the money. She gave my wife and I so many tips for our little guy. She had a long conversation with us explaining the most common do's and don'ts for our specific breed. As first time dog owners, we really appreciated the care, advice and personal time she took just branching off so much of knowledge onto us.

Such a great kennel! They were kind and clearly love what they do and kept me updated all the time and with pics. Went out of their way when my doggie did not want to stay in the pens with other dogs. My dog came home happy and relaxed, and I felt confident leaving her there. Will definitely be back!

Shihaam is a lovely lady that took great care of our little Baby a 1 1/ 2 year old Yorkie We were very nervous to leave Milo for 6 days as this was our first time ever She kept us updated with messages and pictures of milo. Milo was initially scared but warmed up to Shihaam very quickly Thank you once again Shihaam.

Excellent service from Shihaam. We left our Golden retriever puppy for 5 days. She kept us updated with videos the whole time. Our puppy was washed and clean when we fetched her, which was a bonus. She's such a wonderful person to deal with.

I left my two Frenchies at Barking Dogs Spa Kennels for seven nights. I was hesitant at first. The facility is not flashy and the outdoor area is paved, not a manicured lawn. If you are looking for pillows and perfume, this is not that. What won me over was the host. From the first conversation, she showed deep, practical knowledge about dogs, especially sensitive ones. My fur babies bonded with her immediately. She handled them exactly the way I do at home. She hand fed them the home cooked, pre packed meals I provided. She groomed them daily, kept their space clean, and made sure they were comfortable at all times. She also provides clean feeding and water bowls for the dogs in her care. I know this level of care was consistent because of what came back untouched. My pee mats were returned unused. The extra kibble I sent was not touched. Their prepared food portions were almost fully finished each day, which reassured me they had eaten properly. The grooming products I packed were not used, yet my dogs came home clean, soft, and well kept. She had clearly used her own supplies. The condition of my dogs confirmed everything she told me. Their room was private, tiled, safe, and spotless. They had plenty of cuddles, play time, and mental stimulation. On hot days she set up a fan without being asked. She even went out of her way to set up a water tub so they could cool off. She is fully stocked with first aid and clearly prepared for anything, which mattered to me. She is true to her word. I received daily messages and videos, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. What stood out most is that she does not nickel and dime. She does what needs to be done to keep dogs happy and settled, without charging for every extra kindness. My dogs did not miss me. That tells me everything. She is worth every penny and more. More importantly, she has a natural gift with animals. Call it experience, instinct, or a calling, but my dogs were calm, secure, and genuinely happy in her care. That is what counts. The other dogs there were equally well cared for from what I observed. They looked relaxed, settled, and eager to see her. This is not a luxury hotel review. This is about trust. Dogs care about how they are received. They do not trust easily. She earned mine completely.
