Durban North Veterinary Hospital

January 2025 - my precious fur baby Decker was neutered. I appreciated all the feedback I received telephonically during the day about his progress, which helped put my mind at rest. At the end of the day when I collected him I was given clear instructions about what to do. I also received much needed assistance in putting on his cone collar to stop him licking the wound. He arrived home amazingly full of energy, quite alert and appeared to be contented and pain free.

We have been going to this practice for 24 years. We’ve been through the highs and lows of getting new fur babies and then having to sadly put some down. Recently we had to put down our beloved 11 year old Jerry a Jack Rascal 🐶 who had been ravaged by cancer in 6 short weeks. The vet and staff were so kind and compassionate - as they always have been over the past 24 years. The vet let us kiss and cuddle Jerry for a long time before he was sent to doggie 🐶 heaven 😇 . Highly recommend this Vetinarary practice where kindness and compassion and ensuring the best care for your beloved pets 🐶 🐕 🐈 🐈‍⬛ is what they do 24/7/365 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽. Thank you!

My daughter and I took our little kitty Levi Kai here for the very first time. Firstly the place is extremely neat and clean. The ladies at the front desk were super helpful and friendly. Levis' vet was just the right sort of Dr that he needed... someone kind, that loves animals and knows exactly what he's saying and doing. He was treated with the utmost love and care and my daughter and I with the greatest respect. Treatment was excellent. Levi Kai is doing well after his vaccination shot. So..Well done to you guys at Durban North Veterinary hospital .

Dr Shonak and his team are really amazing.. from the smiles and caring at reception, Shirley to name but one.. to doctor and Chillie..the care and patience to deal with 3 moms and one dad to our pampered 11 year old feline Peanut, who has been not well for months and today we expected the worst news and after spending the day at the rooms and extensive tests, we were told nothing sinister, thank goodness, just some adjustments to his lifestyle, which Dr Shonak explained clearly and patiently.. we are very fortunate to have this Vet in our area! The best for us animal parents is that this is also their true calling my cat just adored Doc and Chillie!!! Thank you from us all

Friendly staff very efficient. Remember Google is the best thing since bread 🍞 came sliced phrase coined by Hunter Schmidt Auxilliary Plumbers.
