Pick n Pay Hermanus

I can't actually believe the service given by such a well known company, and such a centrally located company which is convenient to everyone nearby. This is not the first time where service is completely terrible. I came to the till to pay for my items, I mentioned to the cashier I am paying separately, after paying the first items she completely overlooks the 2nd batch of items and helps the next customer. I then go to the liquor store because all the tills are going completely slow and the liquor store teller says I can only pay for alcohol products, where I have on many previous occasions paid for non-alcoholic products at the liquor store. Same company, same products? Please train your staff better, they are not in the right attitude and mind set to be offering a service that people need on a daily, being in hospitality I understand the difficulties but customers are the most important to your business and your cashiers and need better training on how to handle them.

What a disappointment being in Pick n Pay this evening. Only 3 tills open, queues all the way into the isles and when looking for a manager she is no where to be found. Eventually was able to locate her, laughing and chatting away on the phone. She says she was talking to her boss - is anyone able to get me this person's number? I'd love to laugh and giggle like Candice the manager was today while we all stood trying to buy our groceries. Shocking lack of professionalism and no sense of urgency. Perhaps the Hermanus Pick n Pay has a different standard of customer service than in other areas of the Western Cape, I'm new to the area and if this Pick n Pay operates in such a lacksy-daisy manner I'll have to find another store that runs more efficiently.

The daylee lunch meals are not fresh and not palatable at all, the staff are not happy to be there, and the tills are so slow, if you come to pick and pay , don't expect to grab something and go, you will spend at least 30 minutes just getting a pie. And when you managed to buy something you get an empty pie!

Poor maintenance I love the store very much but Tills furniture is worn, outdated equipment used is affecting the pick n pay brand. The chair for the cashier is even shining because of its dirtiness. Other things seem so interesting but furniture needs to be replaced urgently, I guess the employees are also demotivated to work on such space. Please protect the Pick n pay brand.

Not well stocked, butcher could, or would not supply meat as requested, meat freezer had very little options, no one at the fruit and veg section, had to pay R2 for toilet facilities all though you've spent over R2000 in their store.

This shop is not at the level that other Pick& Pay outlets are. However well stocked and friendly staff

Both entrences and the areas by the tills are dirty and full of papers. The parking area is dirty and full of papers. You can see that the staff and management have no pride in their work place. I wouldnt recommend this PnP of it was the only shop in Hermanus. Owners, management and staff should be ashamed of how it looks.
