Kokstad Veterinary Clinic Cc

This is the first time I have taken my cat to this vet. Although he was busy going out to treat the bigger animals that have foot and mouth disease, he took the time to treat my cat. The receptionist Jeanine is a doll. When I phoned her yesterday although the Doctor was not in, she took down my details and said that she will speak to the Doc about my cat and let me know when I can bring her in. Today she took the time to call and let me know that the vet will be in for a short while, and if I want to bring my cat in I should. It was a very welcoming place. My cat was not stressed at all. I recommend this vet to all pet owners. My cat seems better already. After she came back from the vet, she actually ate and pooped which she wasn't doing from Tuesday. Excellent service.

I had an emergency in the early hours of the morning and I couldn't get hold of our local vet. I was desperate, and my dog needed urgent help. I searched for vets and phoned the emergency number that it gave me. When I explained my problem to Dr Nischk, he refused to help me, as according to him, I wasn't his patient and it was unethical for him to treat my dog. I told him if he didn't help me she would die. He was the only vet I could get hold of, and he refused to help me! How is it ethical to not help an animal in need?! My dog suffered a very cruel and painful death. And yes, she died a few hours later. I had to watch my dog suffer as the only vet that could help, refused to help. It was incredibly heartbreaking, and no animal deserves to suffer like that I am shocked that a vet, who is supposed to help the innocent, can refuse to do so. I will never recommend him to anyone.

Great service received. We got a wonderful lecture (Information Session) on how to take maximum care of our four legged children. We will definitely make use of these competent people again.

"Miss T" - I would strongly suggest you review which practice you are talking about here! This most definitely is NOT Kokstad Vet Clinic!! You either have the wrong practice or this review is totally false! Please check your facts!!!!

I'm super impressed with Dr Nischk and his team. They are very helpful, warm and friendly. The confident reassurance and knowledge I receive from them allows me to feel that my animals are in safe hands. This veterinary clinic have my full support and I highly recommend them.
