Random Harvest Indigenous Nursery

Took an afternoon drive out to Random Harvest Nursery in Muldersdrift. To (a) drop my beloved off, she’s writing a paper and staying in a cottage. Much more peaceful in the country. To (b) enjoy a Sunday cake and coffee and enjoy a change in scenery. Discovered a relaxing and charming spot. Jacaranda’s purple blooms carpet the ground and tree-line. The baked cheesecake was delicious and the nursery grounds filled with indigenous plants, pretty ponds, green laws and friendly people. Sunday naps are lovely. But Sunday drives to spots like these are also a big treat.

Delicious coffee, food and cake. We had a beautiful, relaxing morning at the nursery. The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was so peaceful. Really worth visiting. After our meal we walked around and got to see the cows on the property, it's really really cute.

A most pleasant get together today at RH Nursery. The Lions Club of Wilro Park celebrated 2026 in the gardens. Excellent food, outstanding service, beautiful surroundings and Jeffrey was a most interesting guide on our walk . Definitely worth visiting!

This is a very special place, nicely tucked away in a beautiful corner. Has a beautiul ambience. There is an extensive collection of plants and herbs; and I came here and found the indigenous plants that I have been looking for in a while. The staff are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Was drawn by the delicious aromas of the restaurant; sat under the shady trees, with the birds chirping - can it get better than that?? Yes, try their Ginger and Pear cake 😉!

Spent a lovely morning at the nursery. We enjoyed looking at the plants and ponds at the main nursery. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they even offered to take us by cart to see a specific tree (Halleria lucida) I was interested in. Then we stopped at the tea garden under a canopy of trees for a coffee while the kids played in the sandpit. We then took a walk through the rest of the nursery to see the larger trees and also through the bottom veld to see the dam. I really enjoyed the visit, it’s worth the drive out. If you are looking to replace some of your exotic plants with natives you’ll definitely find your match here.

Wow wow wow and one huge thank you. You guys are really amazing. I can highly recommend their high tea venue. We had my daughters bridal shower yesterday with 40 guests and RHN you guys rock!!! Everything thing was amazing. The food was outstanding, the service superb. The ambiance is lovely. The special flowers came out amazingly beautiful. We really appreciate everything you did for us. The gardens, the well trained and friendly staff all ensure a wonderful day out. The coffee shop serves brilliant breakfasts. The nursery has indigenous choices in abundance.
