Hoof and Feather Inc

I recently visited the new Hoof & Feather store in Gonubie Main road and was pleasantly surprised by their impressive range of stock compared to some well-established pet stores. They cater primarily to horses, dogs, cats, chickens, and rabbits. Despite offering more affordable alternatives, the quality of their products remains high. For instance, they carry dog food brands like Ideal, Trusty, Rimax, and Montego. I personally preferred the Trusty brand, as my dog wasn't a fan of Rimax. They also sell tick and flea control such as Nexguard. For horse owners, they stock EquiFeeds, though it was a pity they didn't have any lucerne available during my visit. They also carry a variety of pet toys for dogs and a good selection of horse tack. They also offer primary healthcare services like vaccinations, nail cutting etc. The service was outstanding—Nadia, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable about animals, which is no surprise given she is a registered Animal Health Technician with many years of prior experience in the field. The front staff are equally helpful; Courtney is always willing to assist, and Sibu is great at helping load the heavier bags of feed. Overall, Hoof & Feather is a fantastic addition to the area for anyone looking for quality feed, tack, and supplies at reasonable prices and something different from the other stores in East London.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank Hoof and Feather for coming to our rescue. Our elderly cat is a real demon going to the vet. And we can't sedate him every time he needs nails trimmed. The lovely Nadia came to do a house call. She was super sweet to my cat and took care not to upset him. Will definitely recommend.

The best service from Courtney and Nadia! They go out of their way to help and make it as convenient as possible. Nadia has such a lovely way with my cats and is so patient.

Friendly and knowledgeable service. Good pricing.
