I had a very upsetting experience buying a puppy from this pet shop. I had the puppy for only one day when it started getting sick. I had to take the puppy to the vet twice, where it was diagnosed with parvovirus, a serious and life-threatening virus. At no point was I informed that the puppy was sick or at risk when I bought it. The veterinarian also confirmed that the vaccinations given were incorrect and not properly done, which placed the puppy in even greater danger. This situation caused extreme emotional distress and unexpected veterinary expenses. Selling a puppy that is already ill and providing incorrect vaccination information is irresponsible and unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone considering buying a puppy from this pet shop to be very cautious and to insist on proper, verified veterinary records. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this pet shop.

Won't recommend this pet shop. Staff is rude and if you ask for assistance they say they can't help because the owner isn't there. If you ask if they can please contact the owner to inquire some information, she rudely reply I won't bother the owner, so we can help. That's just for photos of the puppy's. Then worst part of all is, the Owner Maria stalks you on social media and then leave false reviews on your business's. This place from the owner to staff is rude and delusional. SKIP THIS PLACE. YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED IF YOU GO THERE.

Please do not buy puppies from this Pet Shop, on 10 January 2025 my grandson bought a puppy from Pets Kingdom in Meyerton, on Saturday 11 January we noticed blood in her stool, we took her to the vet on 12 January 2025 and she tested positive for cat flu, the vet informed us that she has already been infected between 5 days and 2 weeks. I reached out to the owner to inform her of the situation and to request the breeders contact details to bring this to their attention. The owner is refusing to assist me with the contact details of the breeders or the vets details whom supposedly vaccinated the puppy. We received an immunization card (Which had the incorrect date of birth on it) from the Pet shop however we cannot verify if the puppy was really vaccinated, the owner of the shop then tried to convince me that our vet is not treating the puppy correctly and that she has gastro instead of cat flu. I informed her that i am willing to get the whole file from the vet to send it to her. My grandson spent all his savings on this puppy and her vet account which accumulated to R 6500.00, however this was not enough as she passed away on 16 January 2025. My grandsons heart is broken, we all came to love her so quickly. + This owner does not care at all and are not willing to take any accountability. This is not acceptable!!! Please do not in any way support them!! It is not fair to sell sick animals to people who actually cares!! May 2025 - To the owner I have seen your response on my post, maybe you should get your facts straight before answering me. Our puppy passed away 6 days after we bought her from you, I did not ask you for your assistance after a week. Two days after we bought her we took her to the vet and she already had the virus. I then contacted you, you did not even speak to our vet! You were unwilling to assist and unwilling to give information requested! If you check your records she did eat the same food you "apparently" gave to her, I bought her dog food from you on the day we purchased the puppy. My puppy did not sleep on a bed or fall from a bed, the bandages on her leg was due to the Drips and injections she received. I sent you a video of her suffering and you did not bother and claimed our vet miss diagnosed her and that she had diarrhea. I do know how to raise a puppy and have done so many times before, all my animals are happy and healthy. Looking at all your previous reviews it is obvious where the problem lies.

We bought a puppy 2 weeks ago from the same petshop. 2 days later he stopped eating and drinking. Vet confirmed he tested positive for parvo. Keep in mind the puppy only received his first vaccination just after we paid. This puppy was sick for a while. Do not buy any live animals from them. We are taking the pup to the vet for the 3rd time now.

Wish we had read the reviews before engaging with this pet shop. We made an arrangement with the lady at the shop to adopt a particular puppy. We told her that someone is on their way to pay the fee and collect the puppy. When they arrived, the lady had sold the puppy she agreed that we can adopt. Then refused to speak to us to explain herself. It is clear from her responses to other reviews that she is incapable of taking accountability. So no surprise here. We were extremely disappointed because we have been looking for a long time to adopt this type of puppy. We were really excited for the new addition to our family. Perhaps it was a good thing, seeing as the puppies from this pet shop are diagnosed with cat flue after they are adopted, as per the reviews from other unhappy customers.
