We had a brilliant 3 day stay. Such a beautiful setting. The place is beautiful and quirky. The staff Sheba and Pettus were wonderful and feeding the Alpacas was a highlight for my daughter. Loads to do locally and we would definitely consider going back.
Gorgeous weekend spent at Alpaca Inn. What an experience with beautiful antique furnishings, really everything you could need, and a stunning view, garden and pool, not to mention the adorable alpacas!
Situated off the main road in Montagu, this little gem is an absolute treasure. If you need time out from the city life or just want a change of scenery I would highly recommend this place. The house is fully furnished with a TV, gas stove and oven, fridge and freezer. Pool table, dart board and boardgames/cards. You can feed the Alpaca's everyday at 6pm. Wood is supplied for every fireplace in the rooms and the bonfire area on the grass gets a new pack of wood every morning. The only issue we had was the crickets but this is something that can be overlooked. The host and hostess Petrus and Shiba were very accommodating and answered every question we had. I would definitely return to this place.
An absolutely hidden Gem in the heart of Montagu. Waking up to the friendly faces of Alpacas, donkeys and the locals 🐶 Friendly farm staff and a clean & quiet little farm house with big dreams. One of the most relaxing places we’ve ever been to. Absolutely everything you need and more to spoil yourself with and an extra added Mountain View just to show off. Beds are comfy. Sufficient aircon in each room and more than enough comfy areas to read a book, braai, swim, play pool or just do absolutely nothing. What a awesome weekend away ❤️

Multiple visits to Alpaca Inn have made this my favourite country hide away in South Africa. How can I forget the cozy comforts of curling up in front of a bedside log fire with my favourite books; not forgetting the majestic mountains greeting me and my cuppa early morn. Farm style living with hospitable comforts at its best.
The staff were very friendly, the house was perfect and neat , plenty to do from braaing, board games and pool. The Alpacas were so fluffy and cute, you couldn't help but love the place.
