Our stay at Klein Nektar Wine and Olive Farm was an unforgettable highlight of our South African journey. Nestled among olive trees, this charming house offered a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape through its stunning panoramic windows. The modern design, infused with love and care, provided a sense of unity with nature and complete privacy. We were delighted by the thoughtful welcome gifts—a complimentary bottle of wine directly from their vineyard and a basket of farm products. The outdoor amenities, including a gas grill, fire pit, and veranda sofa, allowed us to enjoy delicious meals and cosy evenings. The hosts even invited us to harvest from their vegetable garden, adding a unique touch to our experience. The hot tub on the veranda was a romantic haven, offering an indescribable view of the stars. I cherished the moments spent in the hot tub with my beloved, surrounded by silence and nature. The farm’s charm extended beyond the house, with opportunities to explore, walk among the trees, and feed the chickens. I am grateful for the two-day minimum stay, as it allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in this magical place. My trip from Russia was enriched by the joy and emotions experienced here, and I eagerly anticipate returning.

Our stay at this beautiful cabin in Montagu was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and at home. The cabin is thoughtfully designed and fully equipped with all the essentials – and a few lovely touches that made it extra special.||||What really stole our hearts was the setting – surrounded by peaceful olive trees, wide-open skies and the quiet charm of nature. Mornings with coffee on the deck and sunsets in the stillness of the farm became our favourite moments.||||It’s the perfect escape if you’re looking to slow down, reconnect and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. We loved every minute of it and honestly didn’t want to leave. We would recommend this spot to anyone – couples, friends or solo travelers – looking for a tranquil and memorable getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The off-grid experience was really fun and the wood fired hot tub one of the highlights. Everything that one could need was provided for. We loved the privacy and the feeling of being on a farm even though we were in the middle of town. Loved it all. Clean and tidy. Comfortable bed, good quality linen. Henk is a friendly and helpful host.

Klein Nektar and its wonderful owners, Johan and Helen, and terrific manager, Henk, nearly singlehandedly made our wedding in Montagu PERFECT. Our first reception venue fell through a month beforehand. I had a crazy vision that the stunning Klein Nektar dining room would make a gorgeous dinner hall for 30 ... and it did. We cannot express how much the beautiful, warm, homey vibe at Klein Nektar elevated our reception dinner. The house set the tone for wonderful speeches and conversations and deeply impressed our guests from the UK and America. My mom was in tears when she walked in and saw how beautiful the house was--and how much it reflects the loving input of its owners. Thank you for providing us a space that really honored our own love. We're so grateful and can't recommend Klein Nektar more highly for a small getaway ... or even a dinner event!

Beautifully decorated, private cottage. We wished we could stay longer. Everything thought through with decor and arrangement. Amazing surroundings and wood fired hot tub. The house wine was excellent too. |Henk hosted us perfectly and we only wished we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful cottage in the heart of Montague, although it’s a short walking distance to the shops, this cottage is situated on a working farm. It’s has a lovely sitting. Vintage farm style decor, super cozy and has everything for your stay. Comfy beds, we really enjoyed our stay and definitely be back. If you’re passing Montague, definitely check this out. It is off the grid but had everything needed.

Situated on a beautiful smallish farm, with great views, the place was well equipped, and we were well informed by Henk who met us on arrival, about the farm and town. very quiet and peaceful, and spacious.
