Montagu manor is a hidden gem. The family service was great and the accomodation was just amazing. The historic building takes you back in time.the breakfast was private but super tasty and the host were more than accommodating.
UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT/ OWNERSHIP||We were privileged enough to stumble on this hidden gem. The new and current owners are in the process of refurbishing this beautiful antique home into an absolute master piece. We stayed in the first completed renovated room and we were really impressed! The decor is suburb and the amenities and linen is top quality. |The breakfast display was magical and delicious too|We will definitely be back here!
Bit cluttered as you need space for luggage. Nice place and looked after well. Breakfast was very nice and dining room so delightfully decorated. Garden is so beautiful.
Our hosts are clearly extremely passionate about their property, and have been working hard to create an authentic old world feel. Small, but perfectly formed with a staggering amount of detail gone into the dressing of this period room, down to the chintz paper liners in the drawers! Add well stocked tea/coffee making facilities, delicious made-to-order breakfast, secure off-street parking and friendly service, it was a joy to stay here
Wot a lot you got! This really is the best value I've seen in a long time. Gorgeous room, opulent breakfast in a stunning breakfast room, and literally nothing is too much of an ask from these amazing hosts. Thanks for the comforts, I appreciate it. I know you will as well.
The friendly and welcoming hosts Wikkie & Elaine couldn't do enough for us and our fur baby. Newly renovated room and bathroom which are elegantly decorated. Comfy bed and fluffy towels. Lovely garden area. The full breakfast was just great and kept us going all day. Will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay 💛
Elaine and Wikkie were great hosts. The room we had was very clean, cozy and just perfect. Don't get me started on the breakfast they prepared for us(yes inclusive in the price charged), it was how we liked it, fresh and filling. It felt like home.
