Amigo Pet Food

I bought a bag of Amigo Confidence after a couple of weeks of research and decided the food and quality stated looks good. Not one of my 5 cats would wat it, even after not finishing their previous day’s food, I would put fresh food, but they refuse to eat it. I reported this to the customer care line 25th of April, but their customer care person obviously was not interested in assisting me maybe this person’s true calling is to work for the Dept. Of Labour or maybe Eskom. But for a small pretty new pet food company to not care about a customer complaint says a lot! They said they would email me on the 29th of April. But never heard back from them. I would never know if there was something wrong with the one bag or the food in general, who knows but they obviously doesn’t care.

Great Company and Great petfood brand! Recently I was dissatisfied with a bag of Confidence puppy food that I had as I had noticed a slight change in colouring and some fibers in the kibble. The owner of Amigo, Romain, contacted me directly to explain their process and that they only use natural ingredients so some discoloration is normal. He delivered a new bag personally and again spent time to explain the processes they follow. Blown away by the support received and the quality of the product.

After contacting Amigo via the website I received requested samples as well as a toy and handwritten note for Bentley via Pudo within 2 days!! We live remotely. Liesel was also very helpful with advice. I strongly believe our journey with Amigo will be positive. I commend the superior service. The best I have received. I hope the company will go from strength to strength. Supporting local!

As Pets & pool did not have stock, I phoned the fabric for direct purcase as I only feed my dog Amigo. As a resident in Dana Bay, I was requested to contact a supplier in Groot Brak. Now I have to travel further than normal and pay more for a 20kg. Ridiculous. I frequently promote Amigo on Facebook as my purebred is in exceptional condition being on Amigo. My first dissatisfaction with Amigo.

Finally a good dog food that doesn't cost a fortune. Our four dogs are on it, no tummy issues and glossy coat.

This dog food is so good, our cats steal it. Never had that before!
