SPAR Ngqamakhwe

it's getting there we all start some where.. it's the most convenient grocery store in the town

There's always crowd by the entrance. You would think the shop is too full inside only to find few people. Those trolley assistants by the door get aggressive if you refuse their help. Overall shopping the store caters for all needs

That place is always full of customers and you always stand on the queue for a long time.

The cashiers are so unfriendly, unprofessional and sometimes a bit rude, I ask myself if they even received any training. On Thursday the 15/2/2024 I had to wait for the cashier to finish with her phone as she was busy typing, while I was waiting in front of her. It's what they all do, they hide their phones under the till and keep on checking them in between the customers. Some time last year one of the cashiers told my colleague to go to the next cashier because she wanted to catch up on gossip on her phone. It's like they get irritated when they see customers.

Spar continues to improve the quality if produce. Their staff is friendly, helpful, patient and very good at handling their customers.

This is a below average shop but given the fact that it's in a village it's good enough. You do get the basics and some off the shelf medicine. Can be accessible by wheel chair but assistance may be necessary.

It is a pleasure to be served at the store. The staff is friendly and committed to serve and assist customers. The store is clean and tidy. They observe the Covid 19 precautions with divisions separating customers from the tellers.
