Is Checkers Plettenberg trying to kill us with OIL😩😩😩😩😩🙆🏾♀️🙆🏾♀️🙆🏾♀️🙆🏾♀️ I’m a tourist,after a long day I just wanted to grab something quickly as I am tired of the food from the hotel, I then bought food from checkers everything was dripping OIL I slept on an empty stomach 😳😳😳🙆🏾♀️ what is this , you can see from the pics
Easy to navigate. Not overcrowded. Affordable cappuccino just outside the Checkers. Found the mini coffee plunger we needed for holiday room.
A well stocked Checkers which seems to have been revamped recently. Confidently located, however, Maps recommended we enter via a one way road so that is something to keep in mind. Also when you exiting, you're forced to turn in one direction so you may need to reroute a bit if you need to head in the other direction
Although this is a very convenient shopping center to visit, and it has a coffee shop where one can sit down to order food and drink, you have to carry a R2 coin with you to use the toilet. There is a security guard at the toilet gate (yes gate) that randomly selects who can get access to the toilets without paying the R2. I had to degrade myself by urinating next to my car in the parking lot. Come on guys this is 2025 not the Middle Ages.
October 2024 - 8 Stars: Well now! I'm up in the Teng and needed a special birthday cake for a relative down there in Plett. By special I mean lots of minor, important little details that would have had any other cake maker referring me to the butcher long before they even quoted. But Mr. Chulu Konza and Mandilakhe his colleague at the Checkers Plett Bakery did me the favour - all negotiated over WhatsApp - and hand delivered the cake to surprise her before she even realised what the date was! "In my whole entire life, I have never seen such a fantastic, over the top beautiful cake!!!..," said the Birthday Girl! She loved it! So today I'm also happy! Thanks Guys! ----- February 2023 - 3 Stars: Two kinds of Checkers, nice ones, and not so nice ones. This one would have been a nice one, but nobody said Hullo to me; the only person that spoke to me was that human at the till that spoke one word, "Plastic?"
Beautifully designed shop out on longships in Plett. Great to have such a quality supermarket nearby that side of town.
Very pleasant place to shop. Clean and neat plus well stocked.
