Polokwane Snake & Reptile Park

In overall the place is good. The lion's are the greatest wonder of the place. However, there are a lot of missing animals inside; I suggest they improve that. Various animals look very old and tired. There is also one crazy Jackal which moves in circles inside the cage please help the animal.

A wonderful range of animals who seemed by and leave to be enjoying life and not dispirited as tend to be found in some zoos. Several creatures we'd never seen before (as Brits) made it well worth visiting, and the owners were very friendly.

A nice place with a lot of animals, animals on point are lions, snakes, kinds of birds, monkeys, crocodile, fox and etc. nice views with pools

The kids really enjoyed the play/swim area they want us to go back again, but not really a vibe for adults.

The park is filled with birds and a variety of snakes. We had fun and there's a variety of activities available. Staff is friendly but there's room for improvement on sanitation..

Nice place for entertaining Kids and have few chilling zones with built braai areas. Some animals such as Ostriches were not there by the time we visited. R50 entrance fee for adults and R30 for kids. There are swimming pools and horse riding for kids entertainment as well. The area is divided into Aquarium 🐟🐠, Snake cages🐍(though some few were not there), large variety of bird cages🦜🐦, a huge cage contain two lions🦁(female and male), crocodile cage, some fewer monkey 🐒 cages and Tortoises. There's a hall available for hiring. The only disappointing factor for me was that the place was not that neat and less maintained in terms of some structures and benches, for example some glass cages for some snakes were dirty and cracked which disturbs one to clearly have full view of the snake inside. The rest rooms are well looked after, the kiosk is nice to meet your basic snacks need😅...and the cameraman is available for some snaps(R30) with some certain snake species wrapped over your shoulders 😅😅 It's really a nice play to visit with fam especially with kids for learning about snakes species and birds.
