The Queen Pet Shop Moreleta Square

Was very disappointed with the customer service, went their twice in Dec last month. Staff are not engaging even with a simple greeting. Staff are more concerned about their phones and the background music. My wife went there and also experienced the same. Dont think I will go there again. Ironically their pet shop at Glen Fare shopping centre is more appealing and larger where their staff are friendlier. Perhaps Queen Pet Shop should standardise their customer service training.

I am generally satisfied with the quality of stock at the Queens Pet Shop Branches. This one, however, is not that. I bought crickets here for my Leopard Gecko, despite stock being low, I can home to fine that majority of the crickets are dead and needed to be thrown away. Really disappointing experience.

There was a dead fish floating in one of the open display tanks which I smelled as soon as I walked into the store. In the same tank there was a dying fish that was stuck behind some plants. The bird that is living in that shop was directly next to it and I felt genuinely bad for it. The staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful. One of the people who worked at the shop was busy staring at my husband and I the entire time we were parked in front of the shop. He was just standing there staring at us while we were parking, as we got out and continued to do so when we were walking up the stairs next to the shop. He kept on doing it when we came back to our car and as we drove off. I'm disgusted by this place.

Definitely not your one stop shop for pets. Very small variety.

Really fantastic and helpful service

Bought a lickimat soother turquoise for R299 on 14 March 2026 at Winmore. Refer to till slip 1045680. My dog, 16 months old licked it once and the rubber knobs came off. She swallowed it with the spread. I took it back to the store the same day I bought it but was not refunded. I do have the slip as well as the lickimat. Very poor quality. Ramin tried his level best to defend the poor quality product.
