Boarding Buddies Doggie Day Care & Cattery

The venue offers a free trial night before leaving your doggies over for a few days which is awesome. 2 areas based on which dogs get on. Beds provided but you're welcome to bring your own to sleep on. The sandy area is soft on their paws and easy to dig up for doggies. Staff have a good rapport with the dogs. Venue looked neat and had a clean smell inside.

I brought my dogs to this facility while I was in the process of moving, as I needed them to be in a safe and comfortable environment during that time. Initially, everything seemed fine, but as the days went on, I began receiving constant calls and messages throughout the day. While my dogs were being fed, I was very unhappy with their condition when I collected them. They were bony, crying, and clearly distressed, which was extremely upsetting to see as an owner. Additionally, Naomi from the business contacted me excessively—sometimes up to 10 times a day—requesting information or assistance. I understand communication is important, but this level of contact felt overwhelming, especially during an already stressful time. When I arrived to collect my dogs, I was not allowed to see them immediately. As their owner, I believe I have every right to access my pets without delay. Instead, they were kept away from me, which I found completely unacceptable. I also noticed that their belongings were mishandled. Their brushes were scattered, one dog’s bow tie was missing, the other’s bandana was broken, and their harnesses and blankets were disorganized and not kept together properly. The overall environment raised concerns as well. Doors were closed and locked, and it felt as though I was being prevented from seeing the full space and how things were being managed. Although the videos sent to me made it seem like my dogs were happy, their condition upon return tells a very different story. Seeing them distressed and unhappy was deeply upsetting. I paid the invoice in full and even went over the amount as a gesture of appreciation, yet the two gentlemen who assisted me upon arrival were extremely rude. They blocked access to my dogs and made the entire experience even more uncomfortable. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the service I received. I will not be returning or recommending this facility. I do not appreciate being constantly contacted in an overwhelming manner, nor being denied access to my own pets. As an owner, I should be able to see my dogs at any time.
