Friendly Petz

One of the best pet shops in Durbanville. Has a wide variety of items for guinea pigs, Rabbits, parrots, fish etc. They do also have a lot of toys for dogs, a lot of the time you are able to purchase guinea pigs as well as bunnies from here, there are loads of options to pick from for fish, many different types of fish as well as accessories. The staff are always super friendly, educated and helpful. 5 stars. Never a bad experience at Friendly Petz

Such a cute place. Staff are great, fun and helpful. My granddaughter loves all the pets, and she was allowed to hold some.

Absolutely DISGUSTED that they can sell animals as "stock". The food these animals are on is trash and theh refuse to improve their care. This shop is abusing animals and think they are doing them a favour 🤢 5 week old baby bunnies for sale but they can only part from mom at 8 weeks! Disgusting behaviour and when I said something about it, I was chased out the shop. If I could I would give them a MINUS 5 stars! This was truamatising to see! Do better and stop selling animals for profit!

Horrible living conditions for birds. All Birds being fed seed only like 6 cocktails in one tiny cage. Very rough handling of rabbits and geniua pigs who are naturally shy by nature. They obviously prioritize profit over animal welfare or rights. If you care about animals or want pets please adopt don't shop. Animals are treated like objects and commodities.

Having bunnies and guinea pigs share a cage. Don't they know that's like having cats and dogs share a cage? And selling bunnies that are only 5 weeks old!!! They should still be with the mum until 8 weeks!! Except those poor bunnies to have health ánd emotional problems, and won't live long. And their staff have NO idea how the handle bunnies!!! Please stop supporting this business. Please adopt from various rescues around Cape Town!

Another petshop referred me to this shop because i was looking for rabbit supplies and most other pet stores either don't have much of a selection of their prices were ridiculous. So my hopes were not high. But i am so glad i went there and will keep going back for a great selection of bunny items, good reasonable prices and very friendly staff and of course James aka Jamie. This is the sort of business we should be striving to support!
