Wollies Animal Shelter NPC

I adopted my kitty from here. I like to believe she chose me before I chose her. Wollies really really do amazing work! I would suggest you try volunteering on Saturdays, I did it twice now, and there is always something new or different. The animals keep your spirits up, you can do the same for them by visiting, or who knows even adopting a fur baby.

I adopted my sweet Scout from Wollies. They were very kind and helpful throughout the entire process. They really keep the kennels clean and really care for their animals.

They do an amazing job at Wollies. We were part of the Christmas crowd on the day. The community was asked to cook rice for the animal's breakfast and it was heartwarming to see how many people came out in the pouring rain with huge containers to feed all those precious animals. Please adopt instead of buying a puppy. Well done Wollies!

We fixed our puppy of 10 months old today. And I had a brilliant experience with staff. Very organised, professional, friendly. The scar looks very nice and neat. Thank you for giving us a great experience.

Beautiful, sweet and kind people that run such a great shelter. The animals here are all the most kind and loving souls you will ever meet. All these beautiful babies deserve such incredible, loving and warm homes that I pray they all find. Please always consider adopting before seeking breeders, there are the most gorgeous and unique personalities here that will love you till the end of time!

The staff were kind at first and I found and applied for a puppy with no issues. The problem was the home visit where they seemed my home an unsafe environment. Their concerns were ridiculous as they listed the following reasons 1. They were concerned that the puppy would be kept in a cage 2. Our pool????? 3. They didn't like where we parked out car These concerns were invalid because we: 1. don't own a cage nor have we ever even though of getting one 2. Our pool has a cover so there are no safety concerns there 3. There is a gate separating where we park our car from the rest of our backyard so the puppy couldn't get near it. I believe this Wollies is racially bias as we are a black household and their feedback after the home visit was disrespectful and implied we had an unsafe environment and that we do not have the dogs interest in mind

A Heartwarming Experience at Wollies Animal Shelter
We were absolutely amazed by our visit to Wollies Animal Shelter. The animals are all in great care and it's apparent that they are well-fed. During our visit, we had an opportunity to speak with the owner who shared that there are over 1000 animals at the shelter. It was a delightful experience visiting Wollies, and we look forward to returning to donate more food.
