K9 Classroom has genuinely been my saving grace while raising my puppy. The individual attention they’ve given us has been a complete game changer, and their group classes were exactly what we needed for Onix to learn how to focus and work through distractions, something I didn’t realise we were missing until I saw the difference. I adopted a rescue, but he’s a working-line mutt with far more drive than the average puppy. I would never have understood how to meet those needs without their guidance. When his hormones kicked in, he suddenly became reactive. We thought we were doing everything right, regular vet visits, plenty of exposure to people and animals, yet he still developed some behavioural challenges. Then one day, out of nowhere, he reacted at the vet to the very same staff who had handled him since he was tiny. Without K9 Classroom, I probably would’ve panicked, hidden him away from the world, and relied on medication before every vet visit. Instead, their new Puppy 3 course has equipped me with real tools to help him face the world with confidence. They’re not just teaching me how to support him through his fears, they’re teaching me to manage my own emotions and understand how deeply he responds to my energy. One of the biggest breakthroughs for me has been learning proper leash handling. With a strong dog like Onix, knowing how to stay calm and in control is everything. I’m far from perfect, but I’m easily a hundred times better than I would have been anywhere else… and at least 150 times better than if I’d never taken him to school at all. And honestly, every single trainer on site has played a part in getting us here, from suggesting games to channel his drive, to reminding me to breathe, to helping me handle the lead, and even reassuring me that we’re okay and doing our best. They see the work I put in, and hearing that from them matters on the days when he’s in full defiant-puppy mode. The stability we have now compared to three months ago simply wouldn’t have been possible without their guidance, and learning how to implement their strategies has made actually doing the work so much easier.

Highly recommend K9 Classroom! Our boy was going through the typical "teenage" stage and we simply didn’t know what to do. We initially chatted to Bronwyn for advice and she suggested we bring him in for an assessment. She was thorough, and worked through a few things with him and my wife and I. It’s been a month and we have learnt so much about ourselves and our doggo. We have found that it’s more teaching us than it is him (although he learns so much each lesson he sleeps most of the day away afterwards) We have one on ones with Whitney, who Cooper(doggo in question) absolutely adores. She’s patient (with us 😂) and her passion for helping us and seeing our progress is visible from miles away. It’s only been a month and we are seeing huge progress. Cooper walks loose lead (something he’s never done), he waits before food( whilst drooling all over the floor) and many other disciplines since starting. We love that he listens better to us, knows how to handle himself but still hasn’t lost his personality. It shows that gentle training works.

What we have learnt is mind blowing. Grown up with dogs and this is the first time doing puppy training. It is amazing! The relationship formed with the fur-babies is remarkable. I would suggest K9 Classroom to anyone wanting to further the obedience or even just the relationship with your babies. They are caring, loving and extremely knowledgable.

Highly recommend K9 classroom. They are always open to helping. They care deeply about each and every dog. They are eager to teach, and celebrate the successes of both the puppy/dog and the owner. Added bonus: very affordable!

Recently enrolled our "wild" pup for the puppy training. The instructors have been so lovely in helping me not feel so anxious and understanding how best to tame the wildness 😜 Very affordable. Facilities are great, not to mention the delicious ice cream for a well deserved treat after classes!

Fabulous dog training school. My dogs and I are constantly being challenged to learn new things. The school organises activities which the dogs and I enjoy. The trainers take the time to assist wherever possible. I'm so glad I started going there. Another important factor is we are tested and rewarded for our progress.
