Nice place for an overnight stay. I pass through often, and it has become my go-to stopover. Graaff-Reinet is a historic town and one of the oldest in South Africa, named after its founder and his wife. It is also home to the stunning Dutch Reformed Church, Graaff-Reinet, often considered one of the most beautiful historic churches in the country. Make sure to visit the Valley of Desolation, a must-see natural attraction with dramatic cliffs and panoramic views. Also visit the Owl House in Nieu-Bethesda, along with the surrounding attractions. I also love the dam you pass on the way down the mountain pass on the N9 approaching Graaff-Reinet.

Awesome friendly reception from Michelle. Helped us find parking for our two big double cabs with bikes etc. Offered us the owners garage.||Room super clean with Aircon. Much needed as the temp is just shy of 40 degrees outside. ||Kids wanted to swim and she organized towels. ||Came to call the kids so that they could see the koi fish being fed.||Much appreciated. This is a great midway stopover. We always book here, the service is great, good breakfast and very clean. Great value on top of it all!

What a wonderful place to stay. The property is beautiful, and the service is outstanding. Ignore the negative reviews—our stay was excellent. The owner went out of her way to help us. When the air conditioner stopped working, they made sure it was fixed before we left for our New Year’s party. Highly recommended!

The staff are very friendly and helpfull. We stayed in Kudu and Vlakvark rooms. In Kudu unit the towel rail in the bathroom was broken and left under the basin. The drain hole in the shower are open so there is a hole in the shower floor. Everything was clean but it isn't ideal for two couples. You enter the unit threw the main bedroom and the kitchen is in the second bedroom. Will work good for a family with small children who doesn't need any privacy. Vlakvark had a very damped smell and the open bathroom also isn't ideal for two single persons. For a couple it can work.

Our room floor and the shower head was not clean. The tap in the bathroom was loose and the bathroom door needed maintenance. The white duvet had stains on it and the bed was very hard, not a great matrass. The WiFi signal was also a struggle.

We really enjoyed our stay and the staff were very friendly and very helpful. Well done to all there. We will be back if we are ever in the area again. Thank you

Lizzy was friendly and helpful. Made us feel welcome. Showed us our place and made sure we knew where everything was. Rooms were clean and neat. Enjoyed our stay. Will definitely stay there again and I highly recommend it to all weary travelers
