An outdoor and indoor restaurant with the intoxicating fragrance of coffee beans being roasted. Sadly the staff seemed to be more interested in each others chit chat. We had to locate them for service, take aways and the bill. We chose the flatbread with Malay style chicken with mango chutney. The flatbread was difficult to cut however the topping was delicious. The portions were very generous. I had a vegetable juice. Probably the best ever.
If you’re driving through or staying in Graaff-Reinet, this is the perfect spot to start your day! This charming coffee shop and restaurant welcomes guests with a lovely outdoor seating area and a relaxed, social atmosphere. The gift shop, stocked with locally sourced products, adds a delightful local touch. Try the Eggs Benedict on freshly baked ciabatta bread — it was absolutely delicious!
A wonderful coffee shop nestled in the town of Graaff Reinet. It was a warm welcome, beautiful shop with creative products. Their coffee is amazing I would recommend buying some coffee beans. The service was good.
A charming coffee shop with a beautiful outdoor garden setting. Food is good, service great. A great deli and coffee roastery for added charm.
The best coffee in South Africa! We have been buying coffee beans here for a couple of years and it is by far the best coffee i've tasted in South Africa. Today we sat down for a breakfast as well, the service and food was good! I would definitely recommend buying to-go coffee and coffee beans here!
What a cute gem in the heart of Graaf Reinet! Pet friendly with great coffee. They have a lovely pantry section too.
Based on my experience I would advise against coming here. There are plenty local spots in town or nextdoor which would better benefit from your support. From the coffee to the takeaway flatbreads we bought and the produce we bought for the road from the little store, everything was far below par, even for a fairly remote town. Ice coffees were mostly ice and clearly made with a powder, despite marketing themselves as a speciality coffee shop. Flatbread toppings were great, but didn't go down too well on poorly reheated stale, frozen pita. Then the produce: poor form on our part not to have checked, but all the juice, and frozen and fresh food for our stopover campsite were either visibly past their expiry date (by their labels) or the expiry dates were purposefully removed. I attach an example of the bagels we bought on 30.12.2025.
