The doctors and personel is been absolutely amazing and proffesional. They've been taking care of my 4 legged babies for years and has recently provided outstanding service and care to one of my doggies. Always willing to go that extra mile to nurse animals back to health. BIG SHOUT OUT!!

Hands down the absolute BEST service I have ever received from a vet. I took my puppies yesterday and they are already feeling a lot better. Even though they were experiencing a large amount of customers when i visited, the kind staff handled everyone’s needs efficiently and I was out in no time. Massive thanks to the staff for being so patient and always keeping a smile whilst doing their job. I highly recommend going to North Rand Road Animal Hospital and I will be going there in the future.

There is wheelchair access..bathrooms for men and woman separately..they all are friendly welcome and they listen even make jokes. I've been goung 4 years now..Dr John even came to my house when I couldnt Lift my father in law into a car..they will do their best if they can't they recommend the best neurologist etc..love them all to bits even the receptionists/nurses/ standby staff even the cleaning staff

I was there within this week, but I have trusted North Rand Road Animal Hospital with my furr babies for years. My pups are happy and so am I! Thank you to the amazing and friendly staff. You never let me and my pups down.

An absolute treasure to find people who are so understanding and experienced. It is a spacious and spotlessly clean environment with an efficient reception. What SO impressed me is that upon entering, there is a waiting room area for people with big doggies or dogs that are very excitable... then the main waiting room is huge, airy and spacious..... Then the main incredible thing is that there's also a waiting room off to the side, where it's quieter for cats..... this just blew me away. If I compare to my previous vet which crammed all and sundry into a small dark room with one ceiling fan....sometimes ill disciplined dogs etc.... and when animals are ill the last thing they need is noise.... North Rand Vet also has far better opening hours, I mean to open at 7.30 am week days is an absolute pleasure.

My family and I have been clients / patients at this vet for many years. I can't say they've never been helpful, but their service levels have absolutely gone into the gutters since Dr. Hannah and Dr. Liv left. I would highly recommend you rather take your pets to Craigview Veterinary Clinic, they have so many more skilled doctors available and so many more facilities to help you with your needs. We've recently had a terrible experience where one of our babies passed away because a "SENIOR DOCTOR" refused to do xrays on him when we asked her to. His pain and diagnosis was delayed and he therefore couldn't get to specialist at Bryanston Veterinary Hospital sooner than he did, resulting in more complications and his passing. There are younger doctors who work at this vet who don't know how to keep their personal life separate from their professional. We experienced this first hand before as well and our dog who was critical at that time, almost didn't get the consult she was promised because of this. She passed away a few days later anyway, so who knows if she would have made it with a better consult from our new vet. I sure hope the "doctor" managed to patch things up with her EX before putting our dog to sleep. Wouldn't want it to be a total loss for everyone.😒 Trying to get hold of the owner is an even bigger issue. I've emailed an official complaint on 19/12/2025 and still no response. Not sure if Dr. Conradie goes through the hiring process with her eyes closed, but the doctors are not what they should be. Therefore, we have taken our business to Craigview Vet and will utilize Bryanston Vet for any overnight stays as they provide 24 hour monitoring, and have many more facilities and skilled, knowledgeable doctors available. After years of spending thousands at this vet, adopting animals through this vet, I cannot believe they are so willing to lose customers. Our new vet has already picked up a very serious illness in one of our dogs that was never picked up by NRR. They are more than happy to dish out chronic medication over extended periods of time, without ever consulting with the animal again to ensure the meds are working, or making sure that any new issues have come to light. They wait until we as the parents notice something is wrong with the animal before consulting with them, by that time it could be too late. You guys need to do better but know this, you'll never see a cent from us again. 👍

I have received very good service and help with my sick kitten, and they were so supportive when we had to put her down. Thank you to everyone in your support during our loss
