I HIGHLY recommend Park Veterinary Hospital. We traveled 30 minutes, taking a leap of faith and placing our fur baby in the hands of people we did not know. From the moment we arrived with what we would call an emergency, we were met with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. The reception staff are incredibly friendly and reassuring, which makes such a difference during stressful times. A heartfelt thank you to ALL the veterinarians involved in helping our Luna with exceptional care, compassion, and dedication — it is clear that they truly love what they do and treat every animal as if it were their own. No doubt about that. We were also pleasantly surprised by their fair and affordable pricing, especially considering the high level of care and professionalism we received. It truly shows that they care about animals and their families, not just the bill. A very special thank you to Wilna, who went above and beyond to keep us updated about our fur baby, Luna. Her communication, empathy, and constant reassurance meant the world to us and helped ease our anxiety during a difficult time while having to leave our baby behind. Thank you, Park Veterinary Hospital, for your outstanding service and for treating our dog with such love and respect. We are deeply grateful. Lots of love, The Miles Family 🐾💙
We have used this vet for as long as I can remember and have never had an issue until recently. Organization there has been very bad lately. We brought our sickly cat in on Friday. They suggested an overnight stay with a drip and for blood tests to be done. We have been calling every day since then and all they say is that he needs to stay another night because doctor is not happy. This morning we called and all that was stated was that we could take him home and bring him in daily instead. We went there at 10am to fetch him, to which they said we did not know we were fetching him today and that we should come back after 2pm when the drip was done. We came back after 2pm and got told the same thing, "we didn't know you were fetching him today, the drip is still in" why was this not communicated amongst staff between 10 and 2? Furthermore nobody ever discussed the results of the blood tests. We got told today that the blood tests show our cat has kidney failure and there's nothing they can do. If you knew on Saturday already that his kidneys were failing and there was nothing you could do, why were we not told and brought in to make a decision, rather than keeping him there and bleeding us of our money? As previously stated, I have never had anything against this vet and they have always been more than helpful, but why is there suddenly 0 communication amongst staff, and furthermore between staff and clients?
Dr. Nicole Grey Didn’t Just Treat My Marmoset—She Protected Her Dignity. In a world where too many vets chase outcomes at the expense of compassion, Dr. Nicole Grey stood apart. I brought her my marmoset in crisis—fragile, grieving, and fading. Instead of offering false hope or aggressive interventions, Dr. Grey did something far more rare: she told the truth. With gentleness, clarity, and unwavering care (and SO much empathy), she helped me see that trying to treat my monkey would only prolong suffering and strip away the very quality of life I was fighting to preserve. She didn’t just examine my baby, she honored her. She didn’t just speak to me—she stood with me. In the hardest moment, Dr. Grey was both clinician and steward, helping me make the most humane decision with full transparency and zero ego. If you’re looking for a vet who knows when not to intervene—who understands that dignity matters as much as survival—Dr. Grey is that rare kind of healer. She gave my marmoset peace, and gave me the strength to let go with love. She deserves more than five stars. She deserves a legacy. Thank you Dr Grey for everything.
This vet has been absolutely amazing, we have been here quite a few times now, we have brought our chameleon and dogs to them and regardless of the pet their service has been amazing and the vets are always extremely kind and my dogs in particular just love them.
I took my Maltese for an eye infection. An eye drop was prescribed at R260. When I wanted to buy more eye drops it was said to me that the doctor would first want to see my dog, to squeesh for more money. By accident I realised that my dog and I were using the same eye drops. I paid R160 at Clicks. Now please tell me this is not robbery. Why would you charge R580 for a Vet Visit when my HP. charges R520. You charge R490 to clip my dogs nails cause he has black nails. I don't e en pay that much for a pedicure and I have cutex on when I leave. You wait and wait your moer off in reception area to see the Vet even though you made an appointment. I will never visit your practise again.
Good day... I'm Very unhappy with the lady that helped me yesterday( Indian lady) when I was there to cut my birds feathers. She totally cut it wrong and messed up. My poor bird can't even attempt to fly falls straight to the ground after I asked her to please cut the feathers so he can't fly away not to cut all his feathers off. This is not executable. He is only 12 weeks old and can't even fly at all. I'm really unhappy about this.
Best vet I have ever been to, very caring and the people who work there are super stars! Thank you for everything you all do!
