Cottage Vet Clinic

I have only ever used their Doctors once when I had to put my girl down and the Vet I delt with had tremendous compassion, so I cannot review the doctor's properly. The staff in reception are all absolutely exceptional, they go far beyond what would be expected. They really go the extra mile to assist every single one of them. Very friendly. Big shout out to Lorett and the lady I always call Jacky in error. She will know who she is . Thanks for the outstanding service.

To the Family of Cottage Vet — thank you. Our very first visit was during an incredibly traumatic and stressful time, as we had to send our precious baby boy, our little cat, over the rainbow bridge. I have never felt so heard, supported, or genuinely cared for at any vet practice before. Your kindness, honesty, and compassion during the most heartbreaking loss meant more to us than words can express. The follow-up check-in calls touched us deeply and showed just how much you truly care. I wholeheartedly recommend this vet. The love, truthfulness, and compassion you show are absolutely immaculate.❤️

The most amazing team! We have had the pleasure to become acquainted with Dr. Morne and his team after our little dog broke his leg. At first we were dreading an amputation but Dr. Morne had a plan A,B,C and D and assured us that our little one will stay a 4legged menace. His attention to detail and care that he has for animals and patience for owners is truly amazing. After we collected our dog post-opp, they even did the effort of cleaning him up and gave him a mani-pedi. Cottage vet is our ride or die vet!

Excellent service when it comes to seeing the vet, buying food or getting the fur kids groomed. I have taken 4 different pets there before and only had a pleasant experience. Thank you Cottage Vet for your love and care!

As I am new in the area it was difficult when my Animal child fell ill and I had to find a reputable Vet. I just want to say thank you for your open-minded approach and efficiency and also to mention you capabilities and commitment. You treated my animal child with dignity, compassion and kindness.

IM speaking up for the animals — if you love your pets, think twice before coming to Cottage vet GBay. When my dog was critically ill, the staff showed no compassion, Conflicting diagnoses by Veterinarian, (stand in vet, Dr morne on leave) ignored distress calls, and dismissive attitudes made a stressful time even harder. Despite high fees, I felt unsupported and let down. Do not risk your pet’s wellbeing here. PS I have never posted a negative review for anyone.

We moved to Gordon's Bay a few years ago and there are many great vets in the Helderberg area but we feel at home here with our animals. From the ladies at the front desk to all the veterinarians thank you from the bottom of my heart. They have healed my fur babies and truly shared in our sorrows when nothing more could be done to ease pain. They gently provided the relief that I could not. When someone shows as much love and care for my beloved pets and rescues as I do they are tops in my books.
