Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the compassion and care you showed my cat Bal. It means everything to leave your beloved pet in hands you truly trust. The vet Dr Kiki and staff were calm, reassuring, and incredibly knowledgeable. I am beyond thankful for your dedication and kindness 💜🙏🏻I highly recommend this practice to any pet owner looking for quality care.
Our cat Joey was dehydrated, had little appetite, and was very low-energy, so we brought him in hoping for some answers. They put him on a drip overnight, which made sense, but he still wasn't eating, most likely because he was stressed and uncomfortable in an unfamiliar environment. We brought him home, and while he improved slightly, he still wasn't himself by the follow-up appointment the next day. What concerned me was that before even properly examining Joey, they were already pushing for blood tests. That felt like a red flag. But when your pet is sick and you're worried, you feel guilty saying no, so we coughed up nearly 3k for tests that ultimately revealed nothing. The following day, Joey perked up on and has been completely fine ever since. I wasn't going to leave a negative review over our experience alone, but when I spoke to a friend who had almost the exact same situation at this clinic, pressured into nearly 6k worth of blood tests that also came back with zero findings, I felt I had to say something. I'm not suggesting the staff don't care about animals. But there's a pattern here that's hard to ignore: expensive diagnostics being pushed on pets that may simply need time and rest to recover, tests that ultimately reveal nothing. It puts owners in an impossible position, both emotionally and financially.
This was not a consultation. It was unilateral. The vet spoke over the client, asked no meaningful questions, and showed no interest in context. Assumptions were presented as conclusions. Talking replaced thinking. Confidence replaced competence. A practitioner who will not listen cannot assess. This interaction demonstrated authority without insight and certainty without understanding. I would not return.
Wow! The service from the minute you enter until way after you leave is so exellent. All those with whom I came into contact with were caring and professional. My Pekenese baby was handled with such care that I knew I could trust them with him. I've given then five stars because of their friendliness and their excellent work. I will certainly allow them to continue to be a part of my pekes life forever. They're a fantastic team. I am tremendously thankful for the successful operation. May they grow from strength to strength bringing healing to many of our fur babies and help to us.
My Dachshund, Tammy, and myself received very good treatment at Hakuna Matata. The lady vet followed all the correct procedures with Tammy and did all in her power to solve the problem, until Tammy was eventually successfully operated on at Panorama Vet Hospital.
We arrived with an emergency 20 minutes before closing today, and the vet showed no urgency or compassion. Instead of helping, we were told to go somewhere else because they were closing — even knowing the nearest 24-hour vet was over 20 minutes away. Extremely disappointing and not what you expect in an emergency situation. Will not returning
Choosing a veterinarian is one of the most important decisions a pet owner can make, and I can wholeheartedly say that Hakuna Matata Vet goes above and beyond in every aspect of care. I've entrusted them with the health and well-being of my pets, including those I've fostered in the past, for years, and their compassion and expertise has never faltered. Recently, I faced one of the most difficult decisions any pet owner can endure—saying goodbye to my beloved dog. In such a heartbreaking moment, the team at Hakuna Matata Vet showed an unparalleled level of compassion and support. They guided me through the process with empathy, understanding, and unwavering kindness. Their commitment to the animals that come through their doors is truly remarkable and every visit is met with professionalism and genuine care. From routine check-ups to more challenging circumstances, they handle each situation with the utmost dedication and expertise. To the entire team at Hakuna Matata Vet, thank you for being more than just a veterinary clinic.
