Amazing experience! Even though it was closing time, the team kindly waited for me to bring in my injured puppy. They were incredibly caring, kind, and thorough throughout the whole visit. I’m so grateful for the compassion and attention they showed. Highly recommend this wonderful vet!

This will be a long review. We recently had to make one of the hardest decisions to put down our precious dog, Nox. It was very stressful and overwhelming. The team at Steenberg Vet handled everything with a level of care, respect, and gentleness that we will never forget. From the moment we walked in, they treated Nox like family, with warmth, patience and dignity. Dr Faatimah Mayet explained every step softly and clearly, never rushing us, never making us feel alone or overwhelmed. She was gentle and respectful and I immediately felt Nox was in good hands. When it came time to let our baby go, they created an environment that felt peaceful and safe. They moved slowly, gave us space to say our goodbyes and ensured he was comfortable until the very end. Their compassion made an unbearable, stressful and overwhelming moment feel a little lighter and for that I will always be thankful. I will always remember after it was done I told Dr Faatimah to please still take care of him and be gentle with him when moving him to be cremated, paraphrasing, her response was "I will take care of him with love and respect exactly the way you did when he was here". That's how we heard it. You have no idea what that meant to us. A huuuge thank you to La-eeqah who saw us through the process from beginning to end and treated Nox with the dignity and love he deserved. La-eeqah you handled things brilliantly. If you’re looking for a vet practice who truly cares about their patients.. not just medically but emotionally. I couldn’t recommend them more. P. S. We’ve used Steenberg vet since owning a dog. The parking at that centre sucks, but the people at that vet more than make up for it. Going to a vet is seldom under happy circumstances, but I always leave there with a smile on my face, or appreciating the people who work there. The service is incredible. They’re all passionate, genuine animal lovers.

Forever grateful for these veterinarians! My child had a blocked bladder and they took very good care of him overnight. And so far, they're one of the affordable vets I've been to in the area. There's always a positive atmosphere in there which is really nice and welcoming.

The Sunday morning emergency service was a lifesaver for us. A special thanks to Vet Fae for her sensitivity, empathy and care above and beyond!

Outstanding veterinarian services and care. All the people who work there love animals. My dog walked off with the doctor happily and without any fear, which is very rare for my dog. They tended to his wounds, give him injections and medication. He came back excited and happy. He loved all the attention. A few days later I got a call asking about his health. Follow up really appreciated. The bill was affordable and reasonable. I would definitely recommend others to take their beloved animals there.
