On 11 December 2025, I took my dog to be groomed, and the service we received was extremely poor. My dog was nervous about entering the building, and instead of helping to calm him, the staff picked him up and attempted to carry him inside. He became so frightened that he jumped out of their arms and landed on the concrete floor. I immediately regained control of him and led him inside myself, where my partner and I were able to calm him down in the kennel. My dog is not aggressive at all; he is simply very nervous when he is not with me. We explained this to the groomers and told them that we would stay close by during the grooming process. We also asked them to please call us if there were any issues so we could return to assist if needed. We were told the grooming would take approximately an hour and a half. After waiting over two hours without any update, we returned to check on him. We were told he was still not ready and that he had been muzzled because he allegedly tried to nip one of the groomers. I find this very hard to believe, as my dog has been groomed multiple times at other facilities and has never shown any aggressive behavior or attempted to bite anyone. When I looked through the window, I saw my dog absolutely terrified, muzzled, and being restrained by four people. About an hour later, he was finally returned to us, visibly shaking and extremely distressed. The grooming itself was very poor, his coat was patchy, uneven, and poorly done. He was covered in powder and continuously scratching, to the point that I had to bathe him again at home to remove whatever products had been used. My partner spoke with the owner about the poor quality of the grooming and the way our dog was handled. The owner responded by saying it was the best he could do. When my partner attempted to continue the conversation, the owner refunded the money and turned his back mid-conversation. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in dog groomers. My dog is now so traumatized by what happened that I don’t believe he would ever be calm enough to return to a grooming facility again. I would not recommend this grooming business to anyone.

Amazing! Wick can be a bit nervous about me leaving places adn I could hear him barking when I left but when I went to fetch him, he was lying down quietly in the crate. So nice and clean and all the shedding fur gone!

Groomer arrived on time in a clean and neat vehicle, friendly and polite. I must mention that my dog isn’t always pleasant to groomers but this time my dog immediately wanted to greet and get into the vehicle. Some people just have the magic touch. Fetched at 10am and returned by 12:30pm smelling fresh! The most brilliant, even and symmetrical cut our Yorkie has had since we moved to Durban. The collection and drop off service is super affordable. The invoicing system is an absolute pleasure. A huge pressure taken off our schedule, and a very happy dog!

Dimitri is definitely the dog whisperer in the Upper Highway. He has an incredible team that results in the happiest fur babies. They treat every guest like their very own with excellent results whether it is a good bath or trim. Every dog in the area knows when he is around , they go absolutely crazy waiting their turn. My dog literally waits at the door for her pick up. This team is passionate about their role in taking care of each individual guest with all their own little quirks. I love the fact that as a working mum , Dimitri has facilitated my girls vaccinations and even food delivered to the door. I would recommend this team to the most discerning pet owner . Know they are in the best hands
