A 4am Sunday morning emergency saw this team mobilize helpful, friendly and professional staff to perform and emergency operation on our big Boerbul male. Hospital and medical arrangements were flawlessly conducted and implemented, and we could rest in very honest and forthright communication through the process. Thank-you to the team for your help and service, and for saving our now very happy and healthy dog!

Although we don't live close by it is the only veterinary hospital we would take our dog to when emergencies arise. The vets and all staff are wonderful, kind people. We thank them for all they have done for Skye. You returned our precious girl back to us and helped us find our smile again.

I cannot recommend Dr. de Scally and the entire team at Hilton Vet Hospital enough! Our beloved Peanut, who’s 11 years old, had always been healthy until this year when he started experiencing bloating and issues with his back legs. We went from vet to vet, but no one could give us a clear diagnosis. Finally, our vet referred us to Dr. de Scally, but we hesitated as the Vet is located an hour and a half from home and we then tried various alternative treatments based on recommendations from others, including homeopathy. Unfortunately, nothing worked, and Peanut’s condition worsened to the point where his back legs stopped functioning. If your pet has unusual health issues, don’t waste time—head straight to Hilton Vet Hospital. The team was thorough and compassionate. While Peanut’s diagnosis was not what we had hoped for, with the MRI revealing cancer, Dr. de Scally left no stone unturned. Even after the results, he consulted with other specialists, ensuring every option was considered. His honesty, care, and expertise have meant the world to us during this difficult time. Thank you and the wonderful team from the bottom of our hearts. – Peanut’s fur family."

Not recommended at all for immigration/ travel procedures. Terrible service Ito communication and administrative. If you are thinking of immigrating and brining your pet… please don’t waste your time. We moved to the US 7 months ago. Our dog, Snippy was staying with friends of ours in Hilton, to give us time to finalize her papers. Requirement/steps 1) needs to have a microchip and first vaccination 2) new rabies vaccination 3) wait 4 weeks, get a titer drawn 4) blood is sent to Onderstepoort 5) application for US permit 7) final medical check up (our pet travel agency drafted the medical certificate, for Hilton Vet to sign) I made most of the arrangements directly with Lana, indicating clearly that we needed a Titer to be drawn. Incident 1: Snippy was given a 2nd and 3rd rabies shot. Finally I asked my sister to contact Hilton vet directly… everything seemed to have been sorted. When they arrived with Snippy’s, Lana once again refused that Snippy gets a rabies certificate as it is to risky for Hilton vet. And that we might loose our money?? Finally, after our friends insisted to have Snippy’s blood drawn, Lana agreed and Onderstepoort sent the rabies certificate. This extended the process with at least 2 months Incident 2: For the final health check up: Our travel pet agency compiled the health certificate, for everyone’s convenience… When our friend left Hilton Vet, after the examination, he went through all the papers and arranged to leave the papers at reception for the pet travel agency to collect. He clearly asked Front desk if she agrees that everything is in order for the pet agency to collect before they fetch Snippy. She agreed that all is in order. When the pet agency arrived, they refused to hand over the papers, because of "out standing fees" (Our payments toward a Hilton Vet have always been immediately or within reasonable time). After having our friend drive back and pay R1006,62 for stamping the health certificate…. The papers were finally handed over and my me and my husband and Snippy will reunite soon.

Very competent staff! We see our pets as family and thats how they are treated at Hilton Vet. They were very accommodating with our Roo's very long stay. We were informed and updated daily by vets and staff. She is now back home and very healthy thanks to Hilton Vet and very competent staff. Thank you for helping our poppet. We are forever grateful ❤

Not compassionate at all don’t go here just thirsty for money and don’t care whatsoever about your animals , the fee for just a consultation before closing time is a rip off . Needed a second of advice worrying that my cat was dehydrated and because I asked they said no I need to consult a doctor the fee will be R1000 and R2000 just for the consultation if it were after hours . Understandable about overtime, however I needed simple guidance and got nothing in return , appalling.
