Inyathi Guest Lodge - Self Catering Chalets

We turned up Inyathi without booking. Our other accomodation did not work out. Brad and Jane made space for us, and we stayed at three different units over a period of 4 weeks at Inyathi. Friendly and very helpful hosts. They were always available to answer our questions. Great location near waterfront, town centre and easy access to bypass road. However still quiet and peaceful in the evenings. Fantastic barbeque facilities at all the units. We highly recommend Inyathi,and will be going back in 4years time.

The host was friendly and very helpful. Apartment was clean with the basic provided. Bed was super comfy. Small private patio area which was lovely for my doggie. Area was quiet but very centrally located. Walking distance to shops, mall and waterfront. Enjoyable stay. TV system they have is irritating though as it wouldn't work properly despite TV being changed. Other than that one point, everything else was great.

We stayed 5 nights in the Inyathi Guest Lodge, and had a wonderful time. The guest house is walking distance from the Waterfront and restaurants, shops or the mall. They have reliable fibre internet, I could easily work from there. They are affordable and the owners, Brad and Jane were lovely, the staff helpful. We had a wonderful time, thank you!

We stayed almost 3 weeks in number 5. The proximity to town is fantastic, you can easily walk to Checkers, pick n pay, the mall, the Waterfront and Thesen island. So many great restaurants nearby as well although cooking at home is also available. There is a private braai area out back and you have your own parking. The staff will do your laundry which is pretty cool. Definitely a good choice for short or extended stays in Knysna.

We were happy with the very convenient located accommodation venue. We however didn't get a warm welcome from the hosts on the day of our arrival. We only got to have a friendly chat with our host on the second night. One first night we had other guests braaing and drinking well into the morning hours. On Saturday night the party continued until 4am so we had a rough time trying to travel back to EL. Owners partied with guests...

This is a fabulous family run self catering accommodation that accommodates single, 2 room and 3 room unit's. It's clean, with amazing decor, full TV options and very friendly staff. I would recommend this reasonably priced accommodation for short and long term stays as it is also well situated close to the shops, Waterfront and Thesen Island.

We family of four, stayed here for couple of nights. Place is located at center of city from where market, places to visit, restaurants, everything is very close. ||||Rooms are nice and clean but big improvement is required on bathroom. Bathroom is very small and shower is there in bath tub only.||||Bathroom basin and kitchen basin both have two individual taps for hot and cold water so you can't adjust water temperature. ||||Bathroom is not attached to any of the room. It is in common area. ||||We also found utensils cleaned improperly. All required items were available except ice or ice tray in fridge and lighter to lit the gas stove. ||||Innocent is care taker there but most of the time, when needed, it is difficult to find him. Other guests had similar complaints.
