Woolworths Knysna Mall

I visited the store yesterday together with my wife and daughter who lives in Amsterdam. My daughter is Vegan and insisted on shopping at Woolworths. We only took one shopping bag with us and left the other bags in the car expecting to fill only one bag! However, we ended up buying more than we thought! Around R1500! As we were exiting the store i accidentally dropped a glass jar of green olives. Two shop assistants immediately came to our aid and brought us an extra Woolworths shopping bag and replaced the jar of olives AT NO COST. We were all so impressed by their actions and immediate response. We will definitely always shop at Woolworths and remain indebted to their warm and friendly actions. We highly reccomend shopping at Woolworths Auusie from Cape Town

This is a great shop, at least as good as any other Woolworths in SA. The food store is a little small and so does not stock all of the items you would find in a bigger location but has very friendly staff and is spotlessly clean and cool. My only big gripe is this: The manager does not seem to know what his stock comprises of. I enquired as to where I could find the Nduja and he could not find it on the shelves. He then went to the back to ‘check on the system’ and came back stating that they only stocked it in winter and that none of the surrounding stores had it either. This is in spite of the website saying it was in stock in Knysna, Plett and George. Two days later I happened to discover 3 bottles of Nduja in the fridge at this Woolworths and they were on special at R200 for 2 ! I don’t like it when I am fobbed off with a dumb excuse. Clearly the manager did not even try to find the item in the system.

The worst Woolworths in the country. There’s no stock on the shelves.staff hanging around having private conversations or glues to their phones. When you enquire as to the lack of stock you are told it’s in the back but they are not allowed to unpack it as it’s only unpacked at night. What a dreadful way to treat your customers.

The manager Adrian Wicomb at Knysna Woolworths is an absolute star. He secured a product for me that I had been looking for, for the family on Christmas Day that had been sold out. He even followed up at 8pm on the 23rd in his own time to ensure that his colleagues had given me the dish. Much appreciated. Thank you! 🙂

Great selection of groceries but prices are soaring. The staff are always lovely.

Highly recommend and am grateful to knysna cashier Mr. Boston. He was kind and so helpful.
