Checkers Tambotie Mall Randfontein

Giving a one star is still a very high score for this store. I have not one good experience at this checkers, none. You will be standing in the express till with 2 items, you will not be greeted, instead a closed sign will be thrown in your direction, you will be chased away like a dog... Just so that the staff can continue helping other staff members first. When you want to dish something up at the deli, know that you will wait for the staff to first make sure their containers are filled first and you will then be ignored for the next 10 minutes. I honestly will never go here again. The fact that the staff is always rude, in a bad mood and does not have the basic decency to greet you... Just a big NOPE from me.

I wanted a zero star , if you ever get a greeting from the staff here know you are lucky. I always have to force a greeting today at bakery I greeted this lady who just looked at me no response then she gives me my order looking the other way no contact nothing what happened to customer service even shoprite is not this bad no man bakery lady Ndhivhuwo bad service

Your money market staff’s attitude is appealing. 0 for customer experience

Virtually all your grocery needs are catered for here. A bonus is the bakery which has a variety sumptuous goodies on offer.

Very nice and clean just need more ipen tills on a Saturday

This branch of checkers is poorly managed and operated. It tarnishes my opinion of the entire brand. The staff are often rude to customers and have an almost ‘just leave already’ attitude. The tills are also incredibly slow and I have waited in the queue for roughly 45 minutes before only to be told by the teller that the card machine is broken and that I need to join another queue. On multiple occasions myself and others I know have bought meat at this store only to get it home and discover that it is off. Due to this I no longer buy any fresh meat products from this branch. I have in the past purchased two ‘cooked’ rotisserie chickens from this branch, both times they were still raw at the bone. During loadshedding their fridges and freezers defrost and they were literally using toilet paper to mop up the water. This also raises some food safety concerns around thawing and refreezing foods. A smaller issue I have found is that the isles are slightly too narrow for two trolleys to pass each-other unless both parties squeeze past one another. This leads to a frustrating shopping experience. Overall if you have the option to go to a different store instead and for your own safety avoid buying meat here.

Tambotie Mall a place were you can do shopping and banking without any hesitation.
