Fat Cake City

I am updating my previous review. The fat cakes are delicious and filling. The atmosphere is not bad. I have upgraded this place from a 2 star to a 3 star review as it deserved it after my last visit 5 months ago.

Magaliesburg fat cake city ,the flies were all over the food and I almost vomited,I always buy food there but as from today I will never, and I won’t recommend anyone else to eat here it’s so disgusting 🤢 and unpleasant

As a loyal and regular customer of Fat Cake City Randfontein, today's experience was completely unacceptable and has left me questioning whether I will ever return. I placed a large order, including three double blondie burgers. After a long wait, the cashier finally informed me that they didn’t have enough steaks for the burgers — they were one steak short per burger. I was offered a replacement of "ribs" instead of the missing steaks, which I agreed to. However, when I arrived home and checked my food, I found that they had replaced the steaks with cheap sandwich ham — not the ribs they promised, and certainly not an acceptable substitute for a steak. This was a blatant act of dishonesty. If the shop had communicated honestly or refunded me for the shortage, it would have been understandable. Instead, they tried to cover it up and hoped I wouldn't notice. For a business that relies on regular customers, this kind of behavior is disgraceful and shows a complete lack of respect and professionalism. I expect better — and so should anyone else spending their hard-earned money here.

It is a simply comfortable place to order a meal and sit down and enjoy it. Service is with a smile and good help choosing. Thank you so much. Being the first time here I am well surprised and happy

Great staff, the area is busy. The restaurant serves nice fries I drive 8KM to go buy their fries and chicken pops. I also like their tramazine, it's very nice and juicy. The place is also smaller but due to nice service you'll never notice that.

I ordered fish and chips. The chips were crunchy and dry. The fish was very, very overcooked to such an extent that distinguishing between meat and bones was difficult. Horrible. Waited 45 minutes for the crap. Will not visit again.
