Shoprite South Africa please clarify for all if I come with my energy drink and it opened and I ask the security guard to cancel it and they give me to options. Either I drink it outside or leave it with them. While it opened what is the purpose for the cancellation sticker. Esikhawini Shoprite

The layout of the shop is spacious and clean. Staff within the shop are always eager to help My only concern is at the tills where the cashiers are sometimes engrossed in their petty conversations, only to turn 'hostile' when a Customer emerges and sort of 'disturbs' that conversation.

You get everything you want but one of the few things I don't like about it is... 1. The shelves are written a price that us totally different from the one that you'll be charged at the till and if you have too much groceries you won't see until it is too late 2. There is this tendency of cashiers where they always give you short change

If they can ONLY sort out the unnecessary queues, this can be an exciting place to shop from. The problem is with cashiers, supervisors and managers. If they can fight to go an extra mile, their attitude towards customer service can change. But I cannot blame them entirely, maybe the problem lies with ownership. If you do not compensate/reward employees appropriately, their energy and commitment are highly negatively affected, and the results are passed to the customers.
