Pick n Pay Hypermarket Soweto

Very big and a real good shopping experiance.

The store is clean, good ambience, generally good customer service. It is big and most of the time have many customers especially this time of the month. On the 28th April I was very disappointed. There were more than 1 price tags in some grocery items. I asked one lady staff member, wearing Pick n Pay uniform. She said it's a mistake but her attitude was so bad and no apology! Then I found same mistake in another item as my photos show. This is confusing customers! We just guess the lower price is the right one. The queues are always too long. Open more tills especially month end to improve service. Pick n Pay Maponya merchandisers you can do better than that. The only Hypermarket in Soweto. It's busier since it was not looted, some customers still buy there even when their malls are back to normal. It's my favorite grocery store. I always give you a good score. This is to correct mistakes and help keep you on top.

The manager is Pro active even assist to put customer groceries in plastic bags when the shop is busy, clean and has sense of freedom when shopping which I love when listening to earphones/you don't see security in each and every corner like other shops like we in prison, I give it 10 stars

It has most of things a person might need, electrical, food and also vehicular gadgets

The store is really big. The management of the store could be better done and it's not as efficient as I'd like to be. The basket system they use for the number system makes it look very old fashioned and makes one feel like the mall doesn't cater well for the people of Sowet. Lol like we are all thieves and we have no moral compass and that's not right! It really doesn't even deserve the 1 star I've given it. Shopping experience was terrible and I won't do that again.

I've been standing at 1-5 item queue, that is manned by 1 Cashier, in a Hyper Market nokwenza. This can only be poor floor management in a Township set up, not happy at all.
