Northern Aquatics Bothasig

I was supposed to get 4 cardinal tetras. I got three and a neon tetra. The fish is in horrible condition the one has a patch on its back looks like some disease and the other one struggling to swim. The bag was double packaged so unfortunately I could only see their condition when I arrived home. The worst batch of fish I have ever bought.

Once again the ladies in the store shows the best attitude towards the customers, shocking and the refusing to give owners contact details, not that it will help to complain as I am sure they are family as nothing ever happens when you complain about the bad service , putting phone down in your customers ear = shocking How they have been in business so long I will never understand Also the fishes conditions is horrific

Got my Siamese fighter from them! Absolutely well stocked and well informed. The guy there was really nice and tolerated my fifty million questions with peace and tolerance 😂😂😂 10/10!

I would just like to advise anyone thinking of doing business regarding stands, at Northern Aquatics, to please stay clear. I sent them professionally drawn directions, they charged me R2900 for the 1.2m stand plus R300 for warped shutterply pieces on top. The stand is wonky, uneven, not level, not even squarely welded and out by half a cm FROM THE MIDDLE TO THE SIDE. I even pulled pieces of welding rod off with my hand that they didn't clean and just sprayed over. My opti white tank of almost R10k would've burst on this terribly made stand. It cost me just over a R1000 in materials from grinding blades, angle iron, welding rods, spray paint, and a whole sunday afternoon at a friends workshop to fix their terrible work. An absolute blessing to have a friend that can help. I raised the issue with them via Whatsapp & Email, they ignored me until I threatened them with a review. I wanted to be fair about it, and give them a chance to reimburse me for the terrible job my friend had to fix. They asked me to bring the stand back in AFTER WE ALREADY FIXED IT and when I told them it's useless to bring in, as it's already fixed, they just ignored me. The attached photo's is all the proof I sent to them in the initial email. I'm still being ignored almost 5 days later. They just don't take accountability, ownership, their business or customers seriously, even when you as a customer try to do the right thing to give them a chance to remedy the situation. Stay away if you value your money, time, aquarium hobby and want to do honest business! They will never see me again.

Gave great advice for my tank and fish. Awesome service

Bought 4 Cardinal Tetras, 2 were dead in the bag when I got home. Livestock at this place aren't cared for!
