Really lively place right after the Oceans Aquaruim.... you can buy stuff, sit for a while and brunch or have coffee... there are workshops above.... I think thwy have lije co-qorking spaces maybe? Its a beautiful view and there's the busy vibe of Africa.... graffiti walls and you can have a walk. I loved.

Fabulous covered indoor shopping area highlighting seperate kiosks selling all sorts of African product from art, clothing, home decor, hand carved animal figures, African themed luggage, figurines, photography. A must visit shopping area at V&A waterfront. Also some great food and drink vendors!

This place is the gem of the VnA, Space is given to individual black artists and entrepreneurs to showcase their unique wares. You are truly supporting the community when you purchase in this location, but the quality of the merchandise speaks for itself. It's next to the timeout eating area. Recommended

Our favorite stop at the V&A waterfront. Filled with first quality items manufactured in Cape Town area. We had to buy more salt, our favorite because we ran out. A wonderful place to stroll with free wifi and bathrooms

The Watershed is an extremely interesting place to visit, in that you can go from looking at contemporary african dresses, to steel acoustic guitars. It has a wide variety of different items that would certainly Garner your attention, and provide you with some of the best window shopping in South Africa. I say window shopping as a south african because these prices are extremely exorbitant, where dresses can range from to 2k - 4k. The prices are steep but if you really want some African flair, have a look around, even if you dont get anything, it's still worth looking at the beautiful craftsmanship that these experts create. I'd highly recommend checking out before heading to your next destination.

Visit: November 2025 Very unique makers market with a ton of stalls, so there's a lot of things to look at and purchase. Two levels with a co-working space on the top floor

This mall is… well, exactly what you’d expect from a shopping mall. You walk in, and everything is there: the clothing stores, the food court, the electronics shops, the obligatory coffee chains. It ticks all the boxes, nothing less, but also nothing more. If you’re hunting for the basics, you’ll be satisfied. If you’re hoping for a grand adventure, you might be disappointed unless your idea of adventure is comparing three nearly identical shoe stores. What saved the experience, at least for me, was the unexpected reggae band performing outside. Nothing like shopping for socks while a bass line makes you feel like you should be sipping a piña colada under a palm tree. That gave the place a certain quirky charm, a vibe upgrade you won’t find in every mall. Apart from that, though, it’s business as usual. No hidden gems, no jaw-dropping architecture, no "wow" moments. Think of it as a dependable friend who always shows up, but never surprises you. Reliable, yes. Memorable? Only if you count the reggae.
