A moderate hike that has amazing views. You can see all the way to the Table Moutain,Lions Head, False Bay as well as Robben Island on a clear sunny day. Make sure to pack snacks, lots of water, sunscreen and a hat/cap. Wear sensible shoes. Beginners can do it if you take regular breaks.
This was an awesome hike with mostly easy trail and some parts being moderate. I found the starting point a bit difficult to find, but there are many ways to get to the trail. Dog friendly and an excellent view from the top. Not shaded so make sure to bring sunscreen along.
Must-do short but steep little hike in Stellenbosch. Great outing if you take some coffee along to enjoy at the Cross.
A fairly easy hike compared to what I have done before. It’s a fantastic option if you’re a beginner or just want a hike that won’t keep you bed ridden for a few days.
Great short hike. Something pretty much everyone can do. Just basic uphill walking most of the way apart from one slightly technical bit. Views are great regardless of the weather, unless its misty... 1-2 hours up and down depending on fitness. Leave your dogs at home, please.
Nice Hike from Coetsenburg- Stadium - easy up easy down - no climbing at all. Bring your suncream and enjoy the views over Stellenbosch and the False Bay towards Cape Town.
Did a lovely hike at Tweede Kruis. Not too strenuous but makes you sweat a bit. It was quite hot on the day we went and as there is no shade or water spots on this part of the trail. Hikers are advised to carry enough water with them. The view from the top is amazing. You are able to see as far as False Bay. It is a must for every avid hiker.
