Creation Wines

We visited Creation Wines for a wine tasting and lunch with our two daughters (aged 4 and 1), and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was excellent, and every wine on the list could be tasted for a small additional fee, which we really appreciated. What truly sets this place apart is the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff—especially towards children. We were assisted by Brenda, who was absolutely lovely and made us feel right at home. There’s even a dedicated playroom for the children, which made the visit relaxed and enjoyable for the whole family. The staff are well trained, with WSET Level 2 and some Level 3 qualifications, and were more than happy to answer detailed questions about the winemaking process and tasting notes. To top it all off, the views are absolutely stunning. Highly recommended!

The place is among the best vineyards in the world and they really deserve it. You feel welcome the moment you step in. We didnt have booking but they managed to find us a table even though it was a busy day. The landscape is amazing the wine excellent et the foods is also amazing. If you’re in Cape town dont know gesitate to take the road !

We were very excited to come here, but did not feel that the hype surrounding this wine estate was warranted. Doing a wine tasting in a restaurant where people are ordering food and eating, was not the atmosphere we expected. Siya was well informed but disappeared not to be seen again and someone else took over the tasting. Very strange.... wine was also not above average.

It was an amazing experience to try their wines. We decided to share a snack platter and later a main course (the ostrich) and together with the wine it was just perfect ! I would definitely recommend Creation Wines and would visit again.

Wonderful place with beautiful artwork, clean restrooms, friendly waiters, and very good food. My daughter has difficulty with food outside our country, and they were very accommodating by preparing scrambled eggs for her upon our request. Thank you so much for your attention and kindness.

Visited this place on our first day in South Africa, landed in Cape Town and rented a car to Hermanus. But this place was the first stop, even before checkin-in. There are several wine estates on the way there but this one has probably the most extensive (and delicious) food menu. The steak didn’t disappoint, it was marvellous. The ramen has a local twist probably - don’t expect the Japanese style, but I liked it. Wines and views are magnificent. 4.5 Stars – Excellent: Delicious, memorable, and expertly crafted. High-quality ingredients and exceptional flavor. Service is friendly but had to follow up a few times on some orders

If you are in this area in South Africa, you will need to check out Creation. Food is good. They have gluten free options too. Host and servers were very friendly and the view is spectacular.
