Please someone inform them that their flies trap lights aren't effective, I turned 2 times after seeing flies on food, not packaged food, but the takeaway section. Other than that dissatisfaction, it is a decent store and has good selections.

Stopped here toward the end of the day and found the store clean, with a helpful security guard who set a good tone on arrival. Inside, the deli area was less consistent, with staff who seemed a bit uninterested, and no cooked food available despite us arriving about forty-five minutes before closing. It was disappointing to leave without the items we specifically came for, especially because the rest of the store appeared well kept. The contrast between a neat environment and an empty deli so close to closing was noticeable. Overall it was a calm, steady experience, but the gap between expectations and what we found lowered the visit to a three-star level.

Staff was friendly, although waiting times at the warm food counter took a while due to then having only one staff lady assisting clients at the time. It was one of the very warmest days (42°) in a long while when passing through this town.

We bought a pack of smoked pork to braai. The pack contained 2 kassler chops, 4 rashers, and a wors. As we we're traveling we could not return it. When we opened the package at our destination, less than an hour after we bought it, the most awefull smell eminated from it. It was such an intense smell of death, rotten meat. We just had to get rid of it, and go wash our hands. The most terrifying package I ever opened. The brand was Old Smoke House, and we bought it on 25 Jan 2026, and wanted to braai it same night. I'll never buy that brand again!!!

People were friendly and I got what I was looking for. I went into the liqour shop and realised that beer is big. So big that I could not even properly look for the wine that I wanted(the beer was stacked in that ilse. Come on guys, wine drinkers should also be treated with respect🙂.

We bought a 250ml milk for a quick overnight stay only to find sour milk in our coffee the next morning. Expiry date of the milk was 5 days ahead. Unlucky but unfortunate occurrence.

Water refill tank empty since Friday morning opening time until today Sunday01 feb...can you please fix it cause we truckers fill up there. Or is it a tactic to buy and pay for 25rand for 5liter water?
