Checkers Hermanus

It's a clean store. You get everything you need. If you're traveling and forgot your personal hygiene toiletries - you'll get them here including face clothes (I forgot mine and got a great quality one here). Also got a camp chair on special. Very convenient.

I would like to thank Tourik hope it's the correct spelling manager at Checkers. Long story short due to system failure I was not able to secure my 10 % discount on my reward card . Seeing it was my second time with similar experience I was a bit angry but the manger dealt with the matter professionally and the matter was resolved. Thanks for putting your customers first

In store Starbucks and kauiu! Amazing selection of wines and cheese. Some of the fresh fruit selection quality needs improvement, but over all, very impressive. Checkers outdoor store also very cool, and has alot of variety on offer.

Great variety in store, I normally shop here on busy days and shelves are always well stocked with fresh groceries and more, plenty parking space and friendly service from cashiers and customer service team. There's a wine route in store, a Cafe for a hot brew, Krispy creme next to the door and Sushi place... all kinds of people shop here and it's a friendly environment.

The worst experience at a checkers store we have had. The Food Deli workers completely ignored us and served someone while we waited for a chicken and mayo panin. They gave the 3 remaining to the sixty 60 work who was completing an order while we had ordered first. When we questioned their service they were arrogant. This is unacceptable customer service.

Always love shopping here. Fresh produce, clean, tidy and organized aisles and friendly, welcoming staff. Great place, and yummy food!

I love checking out grocery stores while traveling and Checkers is tops. It is large, so you’ll find all the food items you need from prepared cakes, cooked foods, liquor, Starbucks inside, toilette and baby items, fresh fruits and veggies and more. I just wondered around and didn’t ask for any help so I can’t speak to customer service. All sections of the store are extremely clean and check out was a breeze in the 10 item or less lane. Definitely worth a visit!
