The Hermanus Station Mall

This is a charming mall in the town and it's so easy to overlook because it's tiny. It's not as loud as regular malls and there are a surprising variety of stores for its size. It's the perfect little place to pop in quickly and we were surprised to find no queues - even on a weekend. There were some closed shopfronts, but that's probably due to Edgars branches being shut down. You unfortunately have to pay for toilets which is not cool, and it's also charming that it has underground parking and apartments on upper levels.

The parking is ridiculously expensive! It is far more expensive than the undercover parking at the Woolworths center across the road. It's even more expensive than the parking at the Cape Town Convention Center and the Cape Town Airport. In addition the parking payment machines at the exit don't always work, especially when paying with Google Wallet. Why should we be paying in the evenings when we go to The Station for dinner? Such a ripoff

Ridiculous to have to pay to use a bathroom at a mall. I was bursting and I had to dig around in my change compartment. Not a good experience.

Frustrating experience parking at this mall. It’s the festive season in 2023, and the parking systems only accept R5, R10 and R20 notes in cash. No cards whatsoever. This caused chaos as everyone scrambled to draw cash from the single functioning ATM at the mall. Please, be better!

Nice mall with a good selection of shops. Just don't dare take a photo, because the rude security staff will quickly reprimand you, making it impossible for Google local guides to provide proper photos for users. Most malls don't have such a policy and the encounter with a sarcastic security guard soured the experience. Go to the Whale Coast Mall instead.
