I really didnt like the fact that I was forcefully made to apply for their shoppers card b4 I could purchase anything there....what happened to consumer rights what does a retail shop need my id, address, email, and even cellphone number for....that is so critical and beneficial to me as consumer that without such I cant purchase from them?...and the staff is so smug about this they dont even rralise they being made to infringe on people's rights to privacy

Is it possible to give - 5 stars. Absolutely the worst service I have ever received. The manager isn't helpful at all and a simple exchange takes 2 hours.

The place is huge and is an all-in-one stop shop with everything from appliances to groceries and clothes and take-away or dine-in but it doesn't have everything everything. There seemed to be very few merchandisers making it hard for us to get answers on certain things. It's convenient but if you're looking to buy with a budget don't waste time going there. So after over an hour of shopping around and standing in the queue for ¼ of an hour we got to the till to be asked for a Makro Card otherwise we can't purchase anything. We knew nothing about that along with many other people. One of my sisters had to go to customer service and queue for 20minutes to fill out a form and be given a slip instead of the card of it and told to collect the card next time. It would be very much convenient if they put up a big sign outside that if you don't have a Makro Card either turn back or get one first, or if the guy who was shouting specials said something about it so people would know. Too bad there isn't gonna be a next time for us. We would rather go the mall and enter this and that shop for various things 😉

On a normal day I usually have a great experience at the store, I have purchased a number of items at good promotional deals. However, Sunday 30th Nov 25 had ridiculously long queues. Understandable as it's the "black friday" season. Staff made great strides to manage the queue but I did not stick around.

Great place to find everything you need, parking galore,quick and easy check out, sufficient staffing to assist with whatever you looking for. Great deals and the pricing is even better. Even next door in the adult beverage department.

My shopping experience is always smooth. The store is very neat, clean, organized, they have young vibrant friendly staff in professional set up. Walmart made the right decision.

I am very unhappy with the service delivery with an online purchase I made on Tuesday and as per the whatsapp communication it stated that deliveries take 2-3 working days it's now day three and ii still have not received my delivery even when calling to find out they put you on hold for a good 15-20 then they say they will call you within an hour , 2hours goes by without a call even when you call back you still don't get assistance yet again they place you on hold ii am REALLY UNHAPPY!! There is no communication on emails to inform you that there will be a delay on your delivery NOTHING! The item ii bought was gift for someone and ii still have no communication on what's the delay this is really unacceptable I will never buy from Makro again !!
