Really awesome local pet and animal store, bought 2 beautiful blue diamond shrimp, couldn't be happier!

Service could be a bit friendlier. But I guess I got what I came for.

Very disappointed with the client service from this business. Ive ordered fish from them over 3 months ago, I was told by an employee that he will order my fish that same week or the next week latest. After not getting any feedback from them, I did ask again after 3 weeks if my fish has arrived yet and it still wasnt there. After no communication for another month I checked with them again, and they said that they have been struggling to get stock of that specific fish from suppliers (which I completely understand ) but they don’t communicate it to you, so how should you know whats going on. Then after waiting for 3 months, I saw someone post a picture of the fish Ive ordered and when asking them where did they buy it from (hoping I could source them elsewhere, since this business couldn’t get them for me) the person relied to say that he bought them from this business that same week. So they did get stock and didnt even inform me. They also posted on their whatsapp group that they will close at 5pm on 24 Dec, so I drove all the way from Queenstown (173km) to go fetch my fish, and when arriving in East London they decided to close at 1pm with no warning or communication. I then asked what do we do now Im already in EL, to which I hoped the owner could just take 10 min to come open for me in order to get my fish. But my message was read and not even replied. Most unprofessional bunch of people to work with, I highly recommend going elsewhere if you want proper client service. Youve been warned! I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone.

What an amazing pet shop! Lots of different varieties and options available, loved all the doggy treats. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They gave great advice regarding one of my snakes.

I have been going to Pampered Pets for years. They have a fantastic range of products and know so much about every single thing in store! Pampered Pets definitely isn't just a pet shop, it's so much more than that. It's a friendly face, a smile and a warm welcome. It's the expertise and recommendations, it's the kindness and care that is part and parcel of the service you receive. The staff are super friendly and really go out of their way to help you. I really appreciate how they care for all their animals.

Worst grooming ever received, my dog came back upset, cut very funny, wet, her shiny coat now looks dull and dry, nails not groomed properly , dog scratching herself vigorously. Seemed like the people doing it are learning not professional we could have done a 10 x better job ourselves. After 5 years of grooming for my baby and loving it I am scard she might not want to go back to groomers after this. Overall not a good experience for my baby It was the first and last time for us.
